I was recently assaulted in Henderson and tried to file a police Report. The Police do not know how to enter reports into the computer and my attempt to contact the Town Manager has since been ignored. Mark Calhoun must be held accountable for what goes on in this city or he must resign. I will keep you posted on the progress or should I say lack of Progress.

Remember the Henderson cop the executed and Murdered the mother in front of her children. Who paid for that. The taxpayers did. That former Henderson cop is still out there. The city let him get away with it. Now they are letting another one get awy with Traffic Stop ABUSE and kicking motorist. Yet again, no one is lifting a finget to stop the ABUSE. You could be next in Henderson Police ABUSE.

The police are already abusive and mean, now they are advertising it. Henderson is a police abusive city. Oh boy!

The story about Henderson police officer Little defending himself in another man's bedroom just reached the Missouri/Arkansas border. Wow! You've set some kind of record. Today, with this new precedent, "anywhere you have a right to be" can be another man's bedroom. Now the psychopaths in 50 states will want a "stand your ground" self-defense provision like Henderson's.
I want to think that the Henderson case carries the concept to its absurd extreme, but it could be that we have not found the limit just yet.

I remember when they shot the icecream mans wife. That one really got to me. Im still feeling sad for that man and his kids. That was uncalled for. I mean could they not have used the tazer gun or shot her in the foot. come on, whats going on here! Now when ever I see a Henderson sheriff I get so scared I shake. I mean it. I always thought they were cool, but what is going on anymore. Does anyone remember when they shot and killed the guy bouncing a basketball, was that Metro. And what about when the two cops went out to celebrate the one cops birthday by blowing away some mexicans, that was so funny.

And, really, really not trying to make a big deal...since moving here 6 months ago, somthing like 6 people have been shot.
But.....I noticed all but Kojak are from other cities. Why do you post on about Henderson PD?
Or LV PD? It seems that you have a lot of info, and hate against a system that isnt even your city.
We as citizens of our own cities, have many ways to take action against what we see as abuse etc. Believe me, I am watching what is happening. Hell, I can't tell you how many times I have gone to the seattle PD's upper echelons, and Internal Affairs, for dealings not correct. Get the officers badge number, write to his supperiors, and IA. Things happen. Go to the media. In your own city.
But, almost everyone here, is not from LV.
May I ask why, post so vehemently, on other cities, not your own?
Just trying to understand here. Who cares what city they live in? So I can't talk about Rodney king cuz I didnt live in Los Angeles at the time? Your post was a complete waste of your time. What was the purpose? Are u trying to say its none of our business? I'm sure everyone that lives in the Vegas valley has gone thru Henderson at least once, so knowing the potential risk is pertinent information for all residents in the area. Even people from our of state that may travel here. Even people that don't come to Nevada ever should still be interested in how police departments (potentially all over the world) can and do abuse their power from time to time. Im glad you were at least respectful in your reply, but the logic is completely absent.

Yes cops are important to society and they should be thanked and not taken for granted, but when they step out of line, they need to be punished. With great power comes great responsibility. If we put our trust into them, they need to operate ethically. Period.
