Good Riddins. Another BAD Nevada cop bites the dust.
Just one of many corrupt cop and whole lot more to weed through. More proof of out of control abusive and un-trustworthy Nevada cops. Its a war zone in Nevada and its the cops that are the terrorist preying on every day citizens, children, and old folks. If anyone knew how to add, they would see the truth. Its their records, its their failure in leadership, and its called abuse.
In this case the cops was protected by the DA, again.

The legal system is a good 'ol boys brotherhood. I'd say from the amount of crimes the police here have been accused of both charged and dropped...most of NV's police force is tainted.
My ex hubby was LVMPD cop and used to beat the hell out of me. I reported it.
Nothing.
Still 10 yrs later waiting on that one.
Some of the news worthy ones:
The SWAT guy who slapped that guy upside the head, the cop a few years back who demanded sexual favors from women in lieu of sitations or arrest.
If it weren't for George Knap we'd never know exactly how corrupt NV is still is even after the Mafia was driven out.

The situation in Las Vegas with law enforcement is incredible.. Then there is the NLVPD captain who is also in trouble.
There are the deaths of offenders who died in the hands of NLVPD officers as they we being arrested.
They seem to be protecting their own and abuse seems to be their motto. Are there any law abiding, decent officers out there anymore? One tends to wonder.

I find it particually sad when any public officail in any capacity commits a crime. It is doubley sad when one officer gives law enforcement in general a black eye. I can promise however, the bad apples are not the norm. Most officers are law abiding, and do put their ass on the line for jo citezen day in and day out. The bad apple should roast, but careful about predjustice decisions on the rest.

Does it not irritate anyone else as much as me that we can witness these things all around us (I had a very, very questionable on the law side, situation happen in AR last night) but can do nothing but vote them out?(And even then, we can only vote out sheriffs and police chiefs.)
The information available to the public is virtually non-existent that outlines any regulations for giving officers authority to use retaliative force, protocol for drawing a firearm, correct regulations for searches, what qualifies as officially apprehending a suspect, etc.
Without this information, how are we to challenge and correct any of these direct or indirect situations? Or for that matter, If we do get so far enough to find the proper information about those certain regulations, what can we do next? Call the police station and report it? Only if you feel like being humiliated by policemen even more. The whole process of this sluff-it-off, buddy-buddy attitude in police organizations and slap-on-the-hand disciplinary action that is corrupting the justice system and making some people completely outraged is enough for them to be anti-police for the rest of their lives! Law abiding or not!
