anti-violence in parks wrote: HPD needs to step up parks patrols, or set up unmarked cars with plainclothed cops. I fully agree. Something needs to be done to keep our families safe. A community park should be one of the safest places to be but not any longer. Today makes 9 months since my baby was taken from us and we are desperately begging for anyones help. We have to find these thugs that stole my sons life and ruined our families lives. They don't deserve to breathe. My son deserves so much better than to just be forgotten about by society. He was and always will be my only baby boy. I love you James. Rest in Peace my beautiful son.

Well, next week makes 1 year and still no word on who did this to James. We are missing James more and more each day. We are still learning to deal with the fact that he is never coming home again. No more late night phone calls just to say, "I Love You and I Miss You" There just isn't anything but memories anymore. And thank goodness for those. It just isn't fair. I miss and love you Jimmy. If anyone hears anything, please contact the Henderson Police Dept. Thank you. James' Mom.

I just realized tomorrow is the one year mark since James left us and its sad. Seems just yesterday i spent all night at the hospital when those kids jumped james and left him unconsious in the desert. I miss all the bond fires and stupid late night parties we all shared with him. All the times we all made fun of each other. It's sad very sad. I miss your humor and you as a person. May you have peace even in death

FutureLE wrote: First I feel sorry for your loss. And I agree that there are witness to this crime and would you please do the right thing and say what you saw. I'm just wondering all his boys with him on that park that night and not even a single one can ID the culprits? Im pretty sure those thugs did'nt just came out from their cars or where ever the hell they came from with guns blasting? Atlest one of them saw someone that they could atlest identify, yes? If you guys are real friends come out and put this thugs to where they belong. Prison! Everyone has said everything they know, Two or Three mexicans in a black car pulled up got out shot at james and left. I have heard though from people that these mexicans were trying to break into peoples cars or houses and james scared them off so they came back to elimate the only witness to their crimes

Reading Rhiannon's comments, and James' Mom.... our Ryan was shot in his garage in broad daylight. He didn't have a mean bone in his body. Some thug shot him, too, a professional...who left no clues and knew exactly what he was doing. He used poor Ryan as an example to the other thugs ... probably just mean to paralyze him but he KILLED him! In the middle of the day, in the garage in a decent neighborhood and you're going to tell me that NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING? these weak people are scared to talk, and meanwhile the good people suffer. not a day goes by that Ryan isn't missed but do you think the shooter has thought twice about it? no....he's probably bragged a bit but that's it. SOMEONE KNOWS! I even wonder if it was the same guy who shot James. Ryan was good, never in a gang, not into drugs or anything illegal. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and probably used as an example to get a message across to the other thugs. It's just not fair. God bless James' family, and any others in the same situation.

We all miss James. James was truley a good soul & a great human being. God chose to take hime for some ungodly reason & it hurt all of us. He is so happy right now. He is free. When you all think of him do some thing about it & go visit him at the park. The first thing I did lasy year after opening presents on Christman with my family was go & see James. I know that he is all arounds all the time, but I think he would want you to see you there as well. It doent have to be a holiday. Since James has been gone my whole family has been even closer to the whole family. They are great people & will soon be celibrating a new life to the family here in 9 months.LOL The stories that we can tell that child are going to be great about thier uncle James. One last comment to the school teacher, "I Hope You find Your Heart" GOOD LUCK

Hello friends of James'. I just wanted to remind you all there is a website where you can light candles and leave messages for James and his family. The website is still in the works but you can use it anytime you are missing or thinking of James. I'm sure he would appreciate it as much as I do. After all, he loved each of you very much. The website is http://james-robert-williams.memory-of.com/Ab... Thanks again to all of you for everything you have done for us. We love you all.

Also- it is important to know what James was doing in the park, to solve anything. Did he know those guys.. was he buying weed, and the deal went south? Was he mad-dogging somebody when they walked by, and they decided to "help clean the streets?" Please know that I'm not judging James.. who i did not know. But, I can imagine walking through a park at 2:30am and passing a black dude whose just hanging out or doin' dope. He would try and give me an intimidating look for sure, cuz he's trying to act tough in the park.. and I'm white (so he would think he can get away with acting all hard). Then, there is that chance that he caught the wrong dude on the wrong day.. who was tired of black dudes staring him down and "BLAM!"

Anyone who didnt know James has no right to judge him or put there two cents in about why they think this happened. I didnt know James very very well but what I do know is that he was a good person and was chill with almost everyone. There is never any reason to take someones life. I know every single one of those boys that were with him that night. They were his best friends and I know for damn sure that if they knew even the slightest detail about who took him away they would come forward in a heartbeat. I lived in the neighbor hood at the time this all happened, not very far from roadrunner, and when i heard i suddenly felt unsafe. Nothing like this had every happened in that neighborhood and its a shame that James had to be the one it happened to. its not right. again, if you didnt know him dont feel the need to imposse your opinion on how or why this happened. its not needed. get a life and some compassion. RIP JAMES
