OMG, did not know this was something that was possible. I have a story about this judge. It I have the correct one. It is a hair raising true story. PLEASE let me know if and when he runs for office again. I will knock on each door in the district and tell the story of what happened up him.

I have spoken to several professionals in the legal arena(mostly attorneys here in Lafayete) about David Blanchet's decisions and the negative impact they are having on the lives of the people involved. here are some of their responses:

"Absolutely ridiculous!"

"I have an appeal prepared before I go in front of Blanchet."

"That man lives in a bubble."

"He loves to hear himself talk."

"I worked with the guy for years. Its a shame what that black robe has done to him."

"The sad part is he believes he is doing good."

"He thinks he can sprinkle magic dust on everyone in the courtroom and all their problems will just disappear."

"The law doesnt matter in his courtroom."

.....Since Judge David Blanchet was appointed to my case of child custody, I no longer trust the judicial system. He is a very dishonest, and unfair judge, who does not look out for the best interests of the child, but he won't admit that. I have never been so devastated.

I am so glad I found all of you! I have been dealing with Judge Blanchett for MANY YEARS and he has ruined my children's lives! I am glad to hear that I am not alone in the way I feel about Judge Blanchet, although I do not wish this on anybody. He has taken my child from me and I'm afraid he has damaged our lives (my child & myself) beyond repair. I do not want him to know who I am either, because I know I could pay for it in court. When I tried to talk to him on a few occasions, he stated "This is not my first rodeo." He does not care about my family. If other people stand together, maybe we could accomplish something.

Im going before him in May. What should I expect? If he doesn't look out for the best interest of the child, then whats his motive behind his ruling/judgement?

This judge is a complete jerk! I have never in my life come across someone so arrogant and disgusting in all my life! There is no doubt in my mind that he takes payoffs. There is no other explanation for what he is doing to our children! My child is suffering every day of his life because of this crook. I dont know what it will take to get him off of the bench, but if and when it comes about I will be there smiling and thanking God. Zen1121, my prayers are with you. I really cannot believe that this is allowed to happen in America! He seems to hate women, and for some reason he is taking our children away from their God given protectors! Do you know what happens when you try to take bear cubs away from their mothers??? We really need to look into this and find a way to change what is happening! Maybe we should write our congressmen!

OH my goodness! There are so many of us! I have been trying so hard to figure out what needs to be done to stop this MONSTER! He is taking payoffs, NO DOUBT! My ex husband molested our children and he KNEW from a previous judgement from a previous judge and still told me to hand them over and NO I DID NOT do anything but keep them away from him on thier visits because they would scream and holler not to go!!!!!!!! My ex was told by another judge that he just wanted ME to not go on and he didn't care about the children!! After this judge retired Blanchett undone everything!!!!! A MONSTER!! My story no one would believe!!! You would pickett the court house if you knew! This man needs to be stopped.

AND to WHOMEVER ( an I use this word lightly, since clearly you are non human to put little snippets in the judging corner saying we are mean, incendiary or the like) chooses to say we are mean,etc. I can see who you are golfing or lunching with on weekends!! THAT MONSTER or his "friends"!!!! Frankly, to see this makes me want the TRUTH out there even more!!! Here is the truth and the crux of it : THE MAN DOES NOT BELONG ON THE BENCH!!!!!!! DAMN IT! HIMSELF! It is so close to try and get a new judge. Try to get a postponement. Do you have a lawyer? and is he a great one?

Wishing him off the bench is not a bad thing. t's the only right thing. Don't feel bad about wanting the best for your child.
