He has let this go to his head. He is not a city employee he is a representative of the City Commission. He does not drive a City owned vehicle but wants people to think he does. This is totally ridiculous!!!!! Hey Robert just FYI I voted for you but because of your stupid shit your pulling there will be no more votes from me!!!!Sorry!

What I liked was that the other 3 commissioners (at least one of them will probably lose his seat in November) said almost the exact same thing concerning this issue in today's Gleaner. It's almost like they held a meeting over in Evansville to discuss how they would respond.

I have to agree with city attorney and other commisioners on this one. Pruitt made a serious mistake that may cost him his seat in the next election.

I think it is more they are worried about the POSSIBLE legal aspect of it since the veicle he is driving is not a CITY VEHICLE and is carrying the crest/logo/seal of the City of Henderson. You don't see elected officials such as judges and attorneys driving around with a magnetic sign like his on their PERSONAL vehicle do you. If it was a city/county/state issued veicle this story would never have made it to press. NOONE other than city/county/state employees should be allowed to have the crest/logo/seal on the city/county/state OWNED vehicle they are driving. I knew that some close-minded person was going to try and bring the race issue up and that is pathetic. He should have consulted the city attorney and his constituents before he did this but by not doing that he has brought this on himself.

I guess they never thought anyone would be goofy enough to do it so no rule was needed... JS

Most likely true, but how can someone be punished without clearly knowing what they are doing is not allowed?

Maybe the City Commission should be concerned more about having the City Logo placed on all City owned vehicles-----like the City vehicles furnished to the City Manager and the Assistant City Manager. They have "official plates" but not the City logo.

Buzzy Newman should realize he serves at the pleasure of the City Commission---not the other way around.

And besides, from what I read in The Gleaner, no one could find anything wrong with what Mr. Pruitt is doing (yea, maybe goofy). So where's the story?

Pruitt is just another example of how far Henderson has fallen. He is a great example of an irresponsible leader that the Henderson community is voting for. Very similar to Tom Davis who keeps running after losing everything he owned and his wife chasing some woman. Personally I would hide but he is everywhere anytime there is an event. How embarassing he is so stupid.

Daily Horoscope for May 17

Cancer

The past couple of days have been rather hard-going so isn't it about time you gave yourself a bit of a rest? This is the perfect day for relaxing in familiar surroundings, preferably doing as little as possible. Well, you might manage to raise the odd glass to your lips and also to eat some delicious food, but you'll run out of energy at the thought of having to do anything too energetic or strenuous. This is a day for enjoying yourself!
