So I just read Obama's new proposed budget. Hehehe, my auto correct tried to spell it "bidet" and that was appropriate.

Another half trillion in "stimulus"? No cuts? Tax increases for the people who pour the most into the job market? Is he TRYING to lose or does he think moderates are as stupid and self-centered as his followers are?

The only good thing, and I would give him credit for smart politics on this, is writing out the Alternative Minimum Tax permanently. Not that I think he gives a damn about high taxes on the middle class, but whenever Dems drag their feet on a tax bill this comes into play and is very unpopular and he knows it forces their hand. Sneaky, but it still has needed to be done for years. Too bad he never does anything for the right reasons.

More debt for our kids and grandkids. More general tax funding to SS. Crazy. If tax and spend were the answer to all our problems wouldn't be be doing swell by now?

I am not sure where you cut and pasted this opinion piece from, but the process was not in question.

The fact that Obama and Co have not passed a annual budget or tax bill since he took office and that his representative LIED about votes needed to do so was the issue.

Good post, Aggie. I read the Washington Post article about the budget as well. The headline was so misleading, "Priority set on middle class over debt cuts", leading the casual reader to believe that Obama is the champion of the working man- they know many won't actually READ it and the first paragraph is disgusting propaganda and THEN they talk about the FACTS.

The Democrats really are either liars or completely ignorant how a market economy works. Probably some of both.

Oh, and Karl, just in case you hadn't heard, non-partisan fact-checking website PolitiFact.com announced that their 2011 Lie of the Year was the Democratic claim that “Republicans voted to end Medicare”.

Of course liberals like that far-left hypocritical MORON Paul Krugman are frothing at the mouth over this, love it. But as far as scope and influence, they got it right. Ryan's plan reshaped Medicare, but certainly did not end it, but hey, it's all semantics, right?

I would say that the biggest lie of the year was "We will cut spending". How do you know when a politician is lying? Hahahahaha, you know.

I looked up the laws concerning Obama's responsability to put up a budget every years as he is required to do by the Constitution and of Course congress added a new rule in 2007 for thier own benifit that allows Obama to pass on presenting a budget, and when I read why the rules, I now know why he has not. First if the presidents budget does not get passed and congress does not pass a bill by a set dead line, the President is than allowed to spend all Monies as he see's fit with out Congressional over sight, this gives him the ability to give money to terrorists, hold back money from states, backmail states with confiscation of state funds to use for the Federal governmet under the Supremecyy Clause, it also gives hi temporary Taxing power over all Americans, such as adding Taxes to ammo, Guns, Food products. Real Estate etc. Now we know why he does not care if we pass a budget.

Obama hates the separation of powers. He has even said that he has no problem circumventing them, and he shows it all the time. He is a little dictator. And his supporters think that is fine because it is their guy. That is what I mean when I say "any means to an end" with he and most Democrats. It seems so handy, so harmless, but where does it stop? That is why we have a Constitution- it is RULES, not "guidelines". That is why Obama could never be good lawyer- the rules are devastating to his case. There are plenty of liberals who post.
