Review: ATM Real Estates

This is a warning to those in the nassau area these people in the beginning pretend to be nice. Until they get your money and once you signed your soul away they become the most nastiest people. And they owner is nasty and only hires white and spanish he is the most obnoxious asshole you will ever meet. But at the same time they have some reasonable prices and nice apartments

Let me start with the receptionist, very rude and has no respect for the tenants or the future tenants. The first time I walked into the office she didn't greet me, she didn't even care to ask if she could help me. When I started to ask about filling out an application the phone rang, she immediately picked it up, not even putting them on hold then shut the window in my face. After I got accepted they told me it would be 2 months rent plus a key fee to move in, so the next day I brought the money they added on another months rent, this is after the receptionist argued with me for at least 20 mins. While I waited in the office waiting for my key, there was over 5 people waiting in the office while the receptionist ignored everyone having a personal conversation about her car being repoed with someone at the window.
Now to the problems with the apartment: When I first moved in the heat was working fine. About 2 weeks later the heat wasnt working, my daughter and I were having to wear sweat pants and a jacket to bed. We called ATM and the same receptionist answered and replied with it is a nice day. I don't know who thinks 55 in the day then 40 at night is a nice day, its freezing if you don't have heat. She said the heat only comes on when its 55 or below, which was a lie, I later found out it doesnt come on unless its 40 or below. I have a 10 month old daughter, I would have never moved into the place if it was in the lease that I would have to wear a jacket to bed.
Last week I didn’t have hot water for a total of 6 days. We called several times, each time we asked to speak to someone else besides the receptionist; she refused to give the phone to someone else, changing the subject and even one time hanging up.
To end it all: Let me remind you that heat and hot water are suppose to be included in the rent and they are the very 2 things they fail to give you.
The receptionist needs to be fired; I can't believe they even have her working there. Well lets hope, I don't have a problem getting my deposit back.

I am sorry to say my experience with ATM Four hasn't been any better then the first 2 mentioned. I've had mold in my bathroom since July of 2009 and October 2009 it is still there! My consistent complaints fall upon death ears and I'm frankly tired of it. This company has no compassion for any of there tenants and views all of us as monetary value only. If you are looking to form a relationship with this company proceed with caution. You've been warned.

It is so funny that The above has written these things I have exp all of the above except I didnt rent from them Thank God. I will tell u my experience. I went in to rent a place and the ran my credit told me I had to pay 2 months rent I told them I didnt have all that money and they told me if I didnt come up with the money by the 1st of the month I will loose my money. There is NO WHERE IN THE CONTRACT THAT STATES IF U DONT HAVE THE MONEY AFTER THEY TOLD U ONER THING THEN CHANGE IT AFTER THAT I LOOSE MY MONEY. The receptionist was so nasty and the owner was even worse. I think it is horrible the way how they treat ppl. DONT WORRY THEY WONT BE ABLE TO GET AWAY WITH THIS FOR LONG. I HAVE A FAM MEMBER THAT WORKS IN LANDLORD TENANT COURT AND I AM GOIN TO MAKE SURE THAT ATM NEEDS TO INVESTIGATED. PLEASE DONT RENT FROM THESE PPL.

Atm will soon reap what they sew all of the above is true but to add the apartment on bergen place is roach infested. They scheme to get other month security, they have no compassion for people they have 2 months security for you and take you to court if your rent is late what is so much security is for soon wveryone will know their deeds and the are gonna be short on tennant. I hope the suthority that be will really investigate it is getting out of hand. the receptionist is truly rude and unprofessional I give atm 0000 ratings they are not ready nice apartment and poor customer service it is people who make the apartment rundont forget they are no good unoccupied snd remember competition is in your face atm worse landlord ever.

I thought I was the only one. They have two months security and are ready to take you to court because your rent is late. They are unreasonable, uncooperative, greedy and do not honor the lease when it comes to late rent. It's pointless trying to get them to work with you because their answer is always "NO." I agree they should be investigated because all they do is make it impossible to form a relationship with them. I am very disappointed at the way they do business am eager to join others who are prepared to file a complaint againt them and open an investigation against their office.
