No one should be descriminated against, but is this needed? A minority person could be responsible for these acts to get attention and benefits. If you are one of the entitled minorities, the more noise you make the more you get. The goal is more affirmative action jobs given to the undeserving, More commissions with huge salaries and staffs. Look at the cost to the taxpayer. In N.C. we pay millions for Human Rights Com.,to do what? Affirmative action offices and positions, liaisons for special communities, etc.

LOL

Some people just need to take with a grain of salt. All this crap and attention is just making it worse. Focus on catching the punks that did it and call it a day. Case closed and move on.

I was initially supportive of Willie Dixon. Now he is going too far with this crap. He and N.O.B.L.E. need sensitivity training more than the cops that are out on our streets. Look how far this thing has gone with copy cats abounding throughout the Island. I'm told that my great grand dad was hung for stealing a horse and he was a white man. Willie! You are making us feel uncomfortable with our black friends when they start with the bull**** dialogue of being discriminated against and fearful of whites. Shame on you Willie Dixon and shame on Mayor Wayne Hall. Let our cops do their jobs.

Heres what the training will consist of. "Repeat after me. I feel guilty because of the actions of long ago of people I never heard of and have no relationship with."

Where were these special interest groups when Anucha Browne was being targeted as a Black female? Where were these groups when the Black female, Lt. Hines, was skipped over for the wrongly placed Dixon and her job status was removed from beneath her at Perry Pettus' behest. Wing wanted tobe chief so badly that he made it happen and Wayne Hall just sat there like a deer stuck in the headlights. What a bunch of sexist hypocrites! Further, Wayne Hall is the most insensitive, biased, sexist, petty and narrow minded person who ever sat in the mayor's seat. He has no control over the situation and he let this dog and pony show circle around him. He has no clue as to what to do. If such training is being conducted, he needs to be in the front row but I doubt anything will penetrate.

I agree with Hang em High all this race business is making me and my black co-workers uncomfortable. It is almost like some blacks want to cause a race riot.

How come I never feel this way with my Asian and Spanish co-workers ?

Dixons NOBLE is just another shake down organization.Let the Police find their culpret and send that officer to sensitivity training. In my job we were forced to sit through this PC bullslip. I was very offended that I was being told how to behave as a grown adult.

What a sorry dumb a55 this guy is. Sorry for the good cops in HPD who are stuck with this maggot crier. Get over it, do your job chief!!!

Yeah, and who is going to pay for this so-called "diversity training"? I'll tell you who. The tax payers! If NOBLE wants to waste time training the police who work for the town of Hempstead, they can pay with their own money. But of course I'm sure the tax payers will then have to cover the overtime since the police won't be getting this ridiculous training during their regular work hours. What a freaking joke. Just another reason to leave Long Island.

How is it that this Dep Chief Dixon is allowed to trot himself all over the TV and speak about an ongoing criminal investigation?? Chief Wing this is your department- put a stop to this Deputy who is tarnishing a great Dep't. YOU will be judged as a Chief and HE is ruining you. Basic PTS Supervision-Officer speaking, hurting department=SHUT HIM UP!!

Enough is Enough!!! The noose was probably nothing more than a locker room gag with no ties to Chief Dixon. Dixon has been a problem since he was hired and THE CHIEF knew it! Now because he sold his soul to the devil THE CHIEF lets him continue this cherade. How about investigating some real crime...like the Trustee Pettus/Hub auto conflict of interest. Tell me Corey Pegues, if its found that a person of color is resposible for the noose will you and Dixon be as media hungry as you are with the PERCEPTION of this being a racial incident? I think not!
