For one I dont belive this is true for one minute he would never put his family out like that...In my opinion they are playing a little game of being racist and I feel it is BULLSHIT

For one? Where's your second point? A man desperate financially and without conscience who believes he will be forgiven for his sins would do pretty much anything...perhaps for his family is his reason. Black or white doesn't matter. Guilt or innocence does. He will be judged...

There is nothing more disgusting than a man who would burn an innocent child's belongings. If he has a family and he did this, he should be ashamed of himself and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But then again, the wife was probably in on it.

For one I am very close to this family and financially they are very set without burning down there home that Jesse built from the ground up dont judge untill you know the hell this family has been put threw because of them being a interacial couple.

Very well set? What a joke! He's still sitting in jail because he can't come up with bail money! He has a criminal history and is a pathological liar! No one cares about them being a mixed couple - that's just an excuse!

Livonia couple arrested for arson, fraud



The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and arraigned a Livonia couple charged with arson and insurance fraud.

The arrests come after the district attorney presented the case to a Grand Jury. Inditment warrants were issued for 50-year-old Jesse Roberites and 28-year-old Tonia Roberites, both of Livonia.

Jesse Roberites had been previously arrested for the third-degree arson and was in jail awaiting further proceedings when the warrants were issued. He was arraigned and committed to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 security bond.

Tonia Roberites turned herself in and was arrested for third-degree arson, second-degree insurance fraud and making a punishable false written statement.

She was arraigned and remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 security bond.

The case arose out of a fire that occurred at the Roberites’ residence on April 16, 2008 in which investigative personnel determined the fire to be arson and subsequently that the Roberites were responsible for the fire.

Both await further court proceedings.

I have been watching this and it sounds like a weak woman is being controlled by an older man. She probably knows everything about this case and is afraid to "lose" her man, not to worry about her home and her children's home. The sad thing is that the chilodren will be raised by someone other than her, but who is to say it won't be better for them??

Normally the kids are put with Child Protective Services, wonder if she has thought about that. I would put my children 1st and hang him out to dry.

"Their" not there. I would not say only one person knows the truth - Tonia and Jesse both know the truth too. The "good man upstairs" is who they will answer to about the crap they are pulling in this life. That is NOT taking care of the kids "well". They have put these kids out of their home and have burned their belongings and memories! It is disgusting! I don't know how they (you) can sleep at night.

I agree with Smart. Kids come first. They didn't ask to be born or to be a part of this screwed up relationship. Tonia is putting their futures in jeopardy - choosing her new husband over her children! That is the absolute worst thing a mother can do!
