Man Accused Of Killing Dog On Purpose Out On Bail
An 18-year-old Hemet man alleged to have intentionally run over and killed a dog at a mobile home park in Hemet was released on bail Tuesday.
Shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, Hemet police were sent to "The Park" in the 1400 block of East Menlo Avenue, according to Sgt. Nathan Miller.
Witnesses told police a man in a white vehicle came to a stop, lined up on the dog and accelerated toward it, running it over and fatally injuring it, Miller said.
Someone used a cellular telephone to grab an image of the truck, and that provided police with a license plate that led to Oscar Montalvo Jr. Read more
