Although the investigation is still on going.... The person that caused this whole situation was his wife.... SHE was the one that was cheating on him and needed an excuse to get rid of him... No one knows the whole truth but a handful of people...Although....She couldn't accept the fact that he had another son! But she was too embarrassed to let her family know! Just to let you know "Seneca" He had three sons!!! Not two!! You can't change what is already there!

So quit crying about the Police that get killed. The Police are getting to be Flat-Out -Murders. Hope they get what's coming to them. First and foremost, I don't see you strapping on a bulletproof vest and risking your life every day to protect the public....police have to deal with some of the most ugly and horrible things every day so have a little understanding for them too. The thing to remember is police are normal people like you and me, there are good ones, and bad ones, just as there are good people or bad people in any other profession. To catagorically see that "police" are murderers is completely ignorant. Most officers pray that they never have to fire their weapon on duty....and considering the psychiatric evaluations one has to pass to become a sworn officer, I find it hrd to believe that anyone would be hired on who just wants to kill people. Every time a weapon is discharged by an officer there is an investigation, especially these days considering the amount of scrutiney the police are under because of people like you with this one track, non experienced mentality. Officers have to make a split second decision, him or me basically. I wouldn't want to be in that position. That having been said, I do feel for the family of the man that lost his life. Its never easy to lose a loved one no matter the circumstances. But I also feel for that officer. Most officers take the job to "protect and serve", and this day and this event will haunt him forever.

Lenny wrote: Why is it always a race issue. Last I checked the police will shoot anyone that endangers there life or the life of another. After checking court records found on line it shows he's a repeat offender with a past arrest and conviction for evading. Don't pass judgement on the situation, because your a criminal as well. He probably did not want to go to prison again. Unless you were there...which none of us were we all should just hold our comments until it's all sorted out. I really do not think cops enjoy taking life. I think Race has alot to do with it it seems that it is always somebody of color and not white. The police in hemet and San jacinto are very racist i would no im from soboba and were always getting harassed by them and for some reason they love to arrest or even shoot one of us its just in there nature dont know why but maybe thats why there always getting shot at.

Hemet has quite a few black police, so I do not buy the theory cause the guy was black. I have worked with the police in hemet they do an excellent job.

Why do we overlook the facts? I have no doubt that Rodney Jackson's family loved him! The fact is that he screwed up! He made a series of decisions that resulted in his death. You can second guess the cops all you want. The bottom line is that Mr. Jackson made some very heinous decisions and was shot to death! No amount of money can bring him back! The firing of officers will not bring him back. Only the lessons passed on to the younger generation about Mr. Jackson's actions can prevent this from happening again!
Put the blame on the offender, not the officer.

Yeah right the cops are racist in San Jacinto and Hemet....Get over it....As for Soboba Indians and cops harrasing you...Maybe you should go to your council and have them deal with your people that are threatening the fire department and emergency medical people and quit shooting at everyone who's not Indian....You are the most ignorant people sometimes....Every one of you I have met spends all their $$ on dope and doesn't have $hit to show for it....$12,000-$20,000 a month and drive crap a$$ cars lookin to score dope...Boo hoo racist everybody wahhhhh, if you are singled out for anything it's because you do it yourself...
