Review: Monster Pizza & Sport Pub

Do NOT believe the trash talk you may have heard. Monster has the best Pizza and Garlic Cheese bread and they have the best Karaoke Jokey in this valley! He is the only one that knows how to run sound and fair rotations. They have just put in a brand new hardwood floor for Saturday dance nights as well. It is a great place to go and have fun with good people.

My son went the other night! STAY AWAY!!! He said he was only there for a few seconds before the first hood rats started picking fights with them. Bad food and bad people!! Stay away!!!!!

We tried it last week and were not all that impressed. Food was okay but not great; pepperoni pizza was super greasy. Service friendly but a bit on the slow side. There's better pizza to be had in town.

i went one night and the owner was drinking with some friends..then one of the guy gets up and drives away...not only that they were making jokes about me and my friends...jeeezz what wonderful business practices.

I wouldn't go there if they gave free pizza!That owner is a real jerk. I met him at a seperate place and then he was telling me he owned Monster Pizza. I wanted to tell him please dont advertise! You are the one that is BAD for business!

i knew the owner before him and he was really nice
but know that place no offense looks like a cheat tijuana bar the owner is always drinking with his friends and they are so bad talkes when they got children and ladys there.i will never go there again iff they paid me..

the police should investigate this place its really bad for children under 21

My husband and I own a restaurant in town and Monster Pizza is where we go to get our pizza. The atmosphere is fresh and the food is awesome along with the $5 32oz. beers! Dont let a few bad apples who may have been in the area speak for the place....The owners are friendly, the dining room in clean and Im sure if you ever try the "Casablanca" - you'll fall in love with the fresh ingredients!!!!

OMG! I had similar experience with the "jerk" owner who likes to get drunk and talk trash on his patrons. He even got really rude with me. That's when the shit talking started at the table behind us. The pizza is not that good and the service sucked all 3 times we went there. I was even standing outside once and he came squealing into the parking lot. What a psycho. Go to Milanos! THE BEST SERVICE, PIZZA, and no crazy owner to make u feel uncomfortable while you eat ur pizza!

monsters pizza is throwing a karoke contest with drunk judges, what a mess and so unproffessional. they charge people 5 bucks and let everyone apply and then the ones that won comes back and sing again against new people , so it sounds like a money scam to me but as long as monster pizza is making money right. there is no cut off or anything they were making up rules as they go along . now they want to do this for 6 weeks friday and saturday. there was supposed to be media there , what happened to fox news , anything to get people out right, stay away from this mess the people that sung last near the end was judged by drunken judges. that show should start at 7 and end by 10 with a limit of contestants. alcopoca restaurant is throwing karaoke on saturday nights there giving away money.

im disappointed about monster pizza on florida . because this women who is doing this karaoke had drunk judges and then they charge you 5 dollars to enter , and if you dont make it they say come back in 4 weeks and pay another 5, come on monster pizza is trying to pay there bills and screw over the contestants . stay away until this circus karaoke is over.

Milanos is the best pizza in town, why bother with Monster it's nasty.

i feel so sad and all of us in our group of friends feel insulted. we were treated rudely and when pointed out that we paid twice, rosie should have refunded the difference but instead told us to get out and never return, all for asking about policy. she had stated last week that if people left early before all singers in contest sang, they would be disqualified. they definitely gave preferential treatment to their own friends and had different policies for different people. it felt like a scam to many of us. even though my friend signed in so much earlier than lots of others, he was put close to last. the music was turned up so high and no regard was paid to the singers that were not in their group of friends. i understand she brings this group of singers to all events and special treatment is given to them by the owner of the establishment.

i felt servers were very polite at monstor pizza. pizza is greasy but ok for this type of establishment. thats all there is good to say of this place. i won't go back for any reason, especially a contest. a great money maker since before this it was empty. a friend of mine no longer wanted to work there due to the way the karaoke and contests are run. she said no way would she ever enter a contest there knowing of how it is run. so unethical.

exactly what i wanted to say, except i didn't know about the judges being drunk, just not knowledgeable to be judges. it was such joke. i was told it was $5 a song per audition and a must to audition again even though you had a score of in the upper sixtys. i idea seemed to be to get you back there as often as possible and stall to keep you there for hours to eat and drink. it was the worse farce of a contest ever. rosie is extremely arrogant and rude if you question her on her policy.

Monster Pizza is one of the biggest train-wrecks Ive ever been to. Someone I know entered into the singing contest being held in the Pizza Parlor Pub thing and I was severely baffled with the service, attitude and quality for the prices. One of the most horrid places Ive ever been to.
My review of the marketing scam for this place is the last thing I will go over.
The beer was watery, the pizza was totally greasy and the dough flavorless. tasted like something concocted from buying all your ingredients at the dollar store.
The service was horrible with a couple of girls who looked like they haven't showered in a couple of days with tattoos exposed and bad attitudes when something was asked of them.
I ordered a beer and a pizza to eat whilst waiting for the contest to begin. I was served with a FROWN from the server and PAPER PLATES... after I had seen other people served on proper plates. not to mention the pizza take almost an hour and a half to reach our table, I was disgusted.
Now as for the singing competition, this was a total catastrophe.
The people holding the competition where a group of the most UN-courteous people Ive ever met. Even after the fact that WE were the customers and WE paid for the food and WE paid for the cost of the rigged competition.
The lady who seemed was the host was the rudest Idiot Ive ever seen hold a microphone, I mean this lady was barking out orders at the crowd like she was paying us to be there. I was baffled when I saw that they knew people who were in the competition as well, Like either family members or close friends.
One of the contestants even showed up super late and didn't even pay the fee to enter the contest due to her either knowing or being a familiar of the host, That's what I saw/heard because I was within earshot.
The man who hosted the singing comp with his karaoke company's equipment kept on failing, some of the most unprofessional stuff Ive ever seen.
I didn't know either to feel cheated or laugh at the fact that these people represent Hemet in such a scumbag way that it makes me dislike this place even more.. Its full of the most inferior people Ive ever come in contact with. It might sound bad, but to these people I think the way they treat people is a norm.

No need to lie about the food and the crappy equipment.

I went there and was told I wouldn't be able to get a pizza as they were in the process of making a whole bunch of pizzas for a big party. The cashier told me to come back another time. So, I went to pizza hut.
