i knew Ruth when i was a girl and she a still young artist. She was a serious character and great friend to me, helping me begin to take Art seriously. Her wonderful family became a second one to mine, for the years we lived in Pocomoke,
and her tastes in Egyptian Jewelery and papyrus plants marked me for life!
Her father Mr. Callahan, smoked cigars & we sometimes met him at a tavern/bar downtown, his dress shop where i got my easter dress; a wonderful man as well. Her husband Bob unforgettable. Rest in Peace Ruth you were a great lady.
