I've noticed that drivers now treat red lights as totally optional. The first car goes through on the change to yellow, then two more cars follow through well after it is completely red. When you are at an intersection and the light turns green, you now have to wait for two more cars to go through before you can proceed. Also, cars keep turning left, car after car, when the light is red. People feel it is their "right" to get through the intersection without having to wait through another light cycle. So I say ticket the lazies and milk them for every nickel they have before they kill somebody.

Speeding Cameras, red light cameras ect are not law enforcement tools. They are revenue enhancement devices. I am amazed the lenses have not been nailed with paint balls on a nightly baisis. No clear picture ,no ticket. Speed bumps would slow traffic down ,but wouldnt raise money. BAN THE CAMERAS NO BIG BROTHER

the cameras are wrong and uncontitutional. Its just a new way to extort money from the public.
Next their will be constant check points to find more violations so they can fine more citizens. Where has america the free gone?????????

It is the "New Rome" method of taxation......
The city/village officials tout safety, but is all about $$$$$$$$
If those intersections were a danger, police officers should have been pulled from the donut shops to enforce the redlights and speed..

Accident stats do NOT justify the stepped up enforcement....
Fines do...
And as with gambling.....a large share goes to a private [OUT OF STATE ] corp

Get "COAST" from Cincinnati to help residents put it on the ballot, vote to remove them and the first politician that suggest another way to raise money, vote them out as well. www.gocoast.org

This is why we need more camera's at all traffic lights, stop signs. You name it . People drive like they are blind. Nobody stops at stop signs. Everyone hits the gas at the yellow light instead of slowing down. This camera needs to stay and the Columbus add more because of the cops never being there to stop people drive like fools. This just show how stupid people drive. Not one of the violations should be dismissed!! If the people where driving the speed limit instead of driveing how they want. This will help stop people from driving how they want. I am feeling the joy for every one of you fools in Heath! You all got what you drivin habits have show you all get what you caused. If you follow the driving rules none of you would have got a ticket, camera or not!! You all deserve it!

If this was truely for traffic safety, all cities would have them already installed. Stop B.S.ing the public and tell them why the cameras were installed. "TO GENERATE CASH FLOW" The city of Heath will also charge you $80 for impounding your car when the owner is not present. They only call you after they impound your car so you have to pay up again! Don't get caught speeding when you are going NB on SR79 from the 50mph zone to the reduced 35mph zone. The city of Heath will now be known for it's camera's instead of the great things in the city.

Obviously there are a lot of traffic violations going on in Heath. --- I travel around Heath several times a week and I rarely ever see a Heath police cruiser have some one pulled over. My question is why did the Heath police not see 9,000/a month traffic violations

PERFECT!!!!!!! you know what to ask!!! This is why cops don't do there job. I bet almost every light in America has the same problem. Come on people answer honestly. How many people do you see runnin lights, stop signs when your out driving. You see some fool every 30 seconds!!! This is out of control. Those camera need to stand where they are, and more need to be added for all the cops never there when you need them. If they follow the law... None of them would have got a ticket. This is why you need to pay attention. If you can't you get ticketed out of a license. I hope this caused a lot of suspensions!!

I am for this 100%. I live at one of the busiest intersections of a small town and last year alone there were four accidents at that intersection. All because of speed - hurrying to get through the light, running the red light, etc. I personally have not had a ticket of any kind since I was 21 years old - and I'm almost 50. I know this would never affect me - and Topper - your total disregard for law enforcement pretty much tells us you would be very much affected by cameras anywhere in your vicinity.

All of us have seen the idiots who almost or do cause accidents because of careless driving. I'll bet you drivers will slow down and stop for those red lights now. There wouldn't be any revenue if drivers would just obey the law. anyone who gets 8 tickets should have to pay every one of them!!! They obviously think they can do whatever they want when they drive. Tickets will slow down now that the word is out about the cameras and these intersections will in turn be safer. If the out of towner comes in and wants to drive like an idiot, send that ticket!!!

I see the same behavior daily. People running red lights, driving 50 mph in 35 mph speed zones, changing lanes in the intersection, not using signals when changing lanes or turning, turning left on red, u-turns, and basic lack of acknowledgement of any traffic rules, regulation and total disregard of any other driver, pedestrian or animal in the vicinity.
It seems the majority of drivers were issued their licenses, if they hvae them, at the K-Mart blue light special.

There are a few things that need to be standard. car inspections for car emissions (Like Georgia), miles per gallon, and more camera's. Tax people on there crappy car. You got a 66 mustang. Great you pay more of a v-8. And taxed even more for no polution control in the engine, you get taxed when you fill up by what engine you have. 4 cil. standard tax rate now for gas. If you got a v-6 the add .05 cents per gallon. If you got a v-8 then .10 cents per gallon. You got a big v-10 .15 cents per gallon. If you want to have that big engine with crappy gas milage. You pay for all the extra damage your doing to the planet. People need to know there are problems when you destroy most everything we touch!

wow, just read all other comments. so what if it is for cash flow,or whatever? big brother? lol, get outta here. ive had two speeding tickets in 40 years, both were when i was 16. i deserved them. so do all the other speeders, red light runners, and accident causers. bet if your child, mother, brother, etc, were in a crash, god forbid, and the camaras were your only witness, you would think alot different about them.

Daily Horoscope for December 1

Leo

Many of you will be in the public eye early on as the Moon lights up your tenth house of reputation. Be sure to be on your best behavior! It may be hard to focus on your work, but this is not the time to fall down on the job. Avoid office gossip and discipline yourself so that when bonuses are handed out, your diligence will be remembered. Things brighten up later in the day when the Moon enters Gemini. It's a fortunate phase!
