You are hearing your facts second or third hand, making you sound extremely ridiculous! You are on a public sight bashing children based of what you have heard from second or third party sources. Dude do you have children? I'm assuming you don't considering your extremely uneducated and ridiculous comments about these children and their family. If you did have children you would then realize that you do not judge other parents on their methods!

Dude, you just sound like a loser that doesn't know anything about the situation or the family. Do you just go around on multiple topix discussions just to start a fight? What is the point? If you don't know about the situation or the people involved, why say hurtful things about children.

In this sort of thing it is essential to know all the details before forming an opinion, let alone voicing that opinion. While the notion of sexual abuse toward a child is sickening to the majority of people in this world, the accused does live in America where he does have a right to defend himself and is entitiled to the right to his innocence before he is PROVEN beyond a resonable doubt of his guilt, yes I know in this situation so much easier said than done - but he has his rights just as the little lady does in this case; when forming an opinion one must take into consideration not only what is being said by each party but also the background of the parents (both biologial and step), their relationships (both marital and extramarital), the history of the children and their habits(in the past and currently).

...that being said children most often learn from their parents, both desirable and undesirable habits - love and lying, humility and attention seeking, being both a gracious winner and loser; the understanding that sometimes in life one cannot always get what they want and have to accept that as fact, like it or not.

The most hearbreaking aspect of this enitre occurance is the long term effects that no one seems to be taking into consideration - multiple children have had their innocence stolen, they have been lied to, mis-led, violated, they have lost family memebers and relationships that later in life they should be able to lean on as a support system; sibilings have lost one another to mistrust and deceit; parents have lost their sons and daughters to anger, sadness, frustration as they are consumed by who is really telling the truth, and that is not my place to decide.

My offering on this is as follows - before you air any more dirty laundry, pointing fingers and laying blame - regardless of whose "side" you are on think of who is reading this, how long it will be here to be read, how it will shape the future. Perhaps thinking before we speak, write, text, e-mail, facebook, blog, skywite or send by carrier pigeon comments and testimony on what we believe to be the truth, that maybe a little silence can go a long way, a moment of reflection and thought, give the justice system the time it needs to do it's job, in the end judgement can only be given by One.

In the mean time remember that Karma is a bitch and it will come back and get it's revenge one day...

Dude, I am actaully shocked to hear that you not only have a Master's but two kids as well! You would think that as a father you would understand best of all that children need their parents support especially in times like these. Someone as educated as you are, I would think would have a little more sense than you have shown on this sounding board. Again, Jessica was right on the money, you have no idea what you are talking about in this situation. You went to highschool with Kevin... that was how many years ago!? Also were you involved in the lives of this family during their supernanny days...I'm guessing you weren't. You specifically said so yourself that you do not know these children or their parents, you only know of what you have HEARD!

The saddest part of this is that the truth, the real TRUTH will never be confirmed - like it or not...(go ahead Dude and hate on me)

The accused and the victim and their lawyers will put on a "show", each side will passionately convey their side.

A jury of "peers", which will consist of a third who are annoyed because they couldn't come up with a reason to be excused, a third third will have a preconceived idea of who they believe, who wanted to be on the jury and made themselves look like solid choices to sit so they can say they were a part of it, the final third sadly will be the ones that come in with an open mind and let the facts and testimony guide their decision - there is really not an opportunity for the accused (not just in this case but many others) to have a fair trial, forums like this one, the onslaught of media that we encounter daily makes it so.

I would love to have a ticket to this "show", to have the opportunity to sit in the middle and let my mind be swayed by what I see, hear and observe...for I have no opinion on who I believe at this time to be the HONEST one.

Also, Shazzam, I would love to see how they can use the mothers innocent fb post against her. THE MOTHER isnt on trial. What she says on her fb does NOTHING to prove HIM innocent or guilty! Idiot!

Those kids are nothing like they were on supernanny. The show was actually filmed when the girls were 5 and 3!! The parents were young, working full time jobs, with 3 kids under 5 and yes, had a hard time. They knew their kids were out of control so they reached out for help. Not for money, they didn’t even get paid till 3 years later! They wanted help, and they got it. That doesn’t mean the kids are crazy and the parents are bad parents. They actually have three parents now that all love them and encourage them. They play sports, make honor roll, and are especially responsible. They are kids, they are not perfect, but they are really good kids. The mother is being trashed, why? She is in a tough situation, her daughter came to her with this secret and it was against a close family member. She wishes it wasn’t true, but it is. She believed her daughter and did what she had to do to protect her and any other children he might do this to. That doesn’t make a BAD mother, actually it shows just how STRONG she is! Hope to see all of you who have expressed your opinion in court. I’ll be on the side of justice, supporting the parents! Now can we stop talking about this poor family, and just let it play out?

...they throw "evidence" out from cases every day in America for a plethora of reasons.
My point is the guy doesn't have a "right" to be innocent until they prove him guilty, he IS innocent until convicted in a court of law.
Dad: I hope this isn't actually true for you and your daughters sake. But one question, how do you KNOW this is true? Where you there? Where you part of the crime? Because if you weren't "there" then you really don't "know" this is true, do you?.....and yes a 9 year old can and will lie. Actually he has a right to be CONSIDERED innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Its not that he IS innocent until proven guilty. He is either guilty or innocent, doesnt matter if he is proven. Yes people DO get away with murder and other crimes all the time, and evidence CAN be thrown out for technicalities, but if evidence that shows guilt is thrown out... Then he gets away with the crime but it doesnt mean he didnt do it! These cases are often hard to prove and most allegations dont even lead to an arrest. So, if he was arrested I can bet they have good reason. What is sad is that a young child has been called a liar on a public forum. If he gets away with this, she will have to live with that. What an incredibly brave child, it is hard for children to come forward with this type of abuse, and if people dont believe her it only makes healing that much harder. I have first hand experience. I just hope this child gets lots of love and encouragement from her family and loved ones because that is what she NEEDS to heal.
