Yep, all they really seem to report now is sports. They salt and pepper in an accident or two every now and again. But it's sports and puff pieces for the most part. It should be called the Panther times, I wonder if we did a word search of their site the top two words would probably be panthers and coach.

Just saw David and Kay Smith's picture in the Sun-Times along David's words of thanking people in the community. Truly a very sad situation. David and Kay you are truly in our thoughts and prayers. God loves both of you. David, I'm very sorry and embarrassed about the way you have been treated by the mayor. You and Kay have a lot friends in the city that care a whole lot about the both of you.

Yes, they absolutely should be. They should be doing the same for other communities in our county. Places like Greers Ferry have a lot of questionable goings-on and NEED investigating, but no one bothers. Sun Times, y'all PLEASE start asking some hard-hitting questions and help shed some light on the issues that the concerned citizenry is being kept in the dark about. PLEASE!

They act as if they're too scared or lazy to ask our local politicians the hard hitting questions.

They are losing my subscription. Would be a good time for another paper to come into town.

Do you not think that during the past three weeks, the Sun-Times has not received any letters to the editor concerning the firing of David Smith. I bet they have. Too many people taking up David, to make me think otherwise.

Which, of course, means that those who write in will be hung out to dry in the event that there is a related adverse action of some sort.

Has anyone seen the local paper today. And if you have, please let me know if it has an article about the city council meeting.
