Honey is a great choice for glycogen replacement. Another good option people don't seem to think about is coconut oil--medium chain fatty acids that are used and not stored. Through testing we find that a great many athletes are intolerant to honey and this can then be challenging as to what to use....we have been recommending Stevia, Agave and Xylitol as sugar sources....

I recommend honey!

These allergies, now are they in the mind or in the body?

I talk to lots of folk who speak very positively about their allergies, but who contradict themselves with their food choices.

For example people with 'dairy' allergies, frequently eat sweetened yoghurt. Maybe they mean it is the smell at the dairy they react to?

People tell me they don't eat meat, but I see them enjoying a Big Mac. Meat, apparently, means a T Bone, or something identifiable as from the carcas of an animal.

How rare is a honey alergy? Maybe 1:6 billion?

I believe I could overcome a honey alergy in no time flat, especially if the patient was hypnotised. But then I don't have any prejudices against honey either.

Cheers,

John
