Son maced by bus driver.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC)- WTOC obtained video a mother says proves her son was assaulted by a Savannah Chatham County School bus driver.

Police say Hubert Middle School student Tremell Grady was maced by the driver while he was on his way home from school Thursday.

First Student fired the driver, but a Grand Jury decided not to charge the bus driver Wednesday.

What is your opinion on whether the drive should be charged or just fired?

Cruelty to a child.. in a position where you are deemed responsible enough to protect a child as well.

I say, good job bus driver! Its a crying shame you lost your job. Ya'll can bet your a$$ that kid did plenty to deserve it. Why else would a grand jury not press charges? They saw the video, they know what's up!

What do you qualify as "plenty" to justify a grown up punching a child in the face and using pepper spray on them? You can bet your ass that if he had hit the bus driver he would have been expelled from school. I'm not trying to argue, just trying to figure out that you believes justifies this reaction.. again, from a grown up, on a child.

Again, we did not get to see the video, but the grand jury did. Grand jury. They saw enough of that childs punk a$$ attitude to decide the drivers actions were warranted. Probably some mouthy, pants on the ground thug that needed the crap slapped out of him. If that's not the case, maybe the parents (parent) should take it to the courts...oh yeah, they don't care.

Again, I think my question was pretty plain.. what do you think justifies an adult punching a child in the face and then pepper spraying them? Am I understanding you correctly that a bad attitude, and baggy pants justifies it?

Also, "Dontgocastingstones " is a pretty interesting name for someone that is casting the burden on the person in the video that can't be seen as doing anything wrong and defending the person that, with the evidence we have, should be more than fired.

I'm not saying that there isn't more to the story, just pointing out the hypocrisy of your opinion.

As a former bus driver, I recall many times when I wished I had some mace or chloroform or something more than a sheet of paper to make a report. Especially the time a boy kicked the windshield out of my bus.

The video is on the Sav. news site and also there is a cell phone video that one of the kids took. And if you want to stereo type the boy then go ahead but once you see the video you will see he is not a "pants on the ground thug".

Rockinhawk I understand what you men about wishing there was more than you could do then write a report. I use to drive a bus when my children were in school. I know these are different times form then.

First of all "Brohes" I don't give 2 drips of spit about your opinion or what you consider hypocrisy. Was it your turn to carry the topix sheriff badge this week? How about minding your own business. I am entitled to my opinion whether you like it or not. I didn't post my opinion on here to garner response from yet another of the "self proclaimed, great minds" of topix. I don't need to explain to you what I think about anything, however I will try one last time for your simple mind.
Secondly, I had not seen the video before I posted what I did. Thank you for directing me to it. Now that I have seen it, let me clarify my opinion. The kid IS a foul mouthed, punk a$$, pants on the ground thug that deserves everything he got and much more. If you listen closely to the actual video you will understand what I am saying. A nice child doesn't do or say any of the things that beast was doing and saying. He started it, you can bet on that. That camera phone just wasn't filming when he did. Why else do you think that driver was calling the law to come get him and other students were telling him he shouldn't have done that? Get your blinders off. People like you are what is wrong with the world today. They should lock that punk up right now and give that woman her job back with a raise and a new can of mace!

I guess I missed somethig or there is another video that I did not see because while she was cussing him out he did no say anything and then she hit him and maced him and that is when he said something and tried to defend himself from her attacks. I felt he kept his composure until the physical attacks. Just my opinion.
