Maybe slavery ended 145 years ago, but blacks were still treated as non humans up till the 1960's when finally the civil rights movement and Dr Martin Luther King finally got TOTAL FREEDOM for blacks and it was a long time over due - i saw how blacks were treated in the 1950's which was less than human and despised by whites, not allowed to use water fountains in public or convient bathrooms, or go into resturants, and move to the back of the bus with their head hung down in shame because they were BLACK. This treatment by our SYSTEM at the time was shameful and just as bad as slavery ever was or worse. You can say a man is free and no longer a slave but until you remove the invisible chains that hold him down - THEY ARE NOT FREE - this black man who beat this precious child to death is not bad because he is black , but is bad because of what he did - WHITES and every other color has done similar crimes to this - so do not visit this on the black community only because my friend that is being RACISTS and it makes you look ignorant

Instead of a forum like this to provide a collaborative space to share idea's and solutions, it's nothing more than a place to act stilly and spew venom. Seems like the only positive thing they provide are "HIT Counts" the owner can provide to their advertisers. If the advertisers actually reviewed the comments on this site the smart ones would pull out. Places like this bring out the most ignorant thoughts possible due to the anonymity they provide the contributor.
No particular group has a lock on violent behavior. What we observe standing in front of our small window on the world does not provide the entire picture. This lack of intelligence is quite obvious reading many of the posts here. Free speech is a wonderful right, ignorance is a terrible waste of a mind.
