Hurray for the wolves. I'm sorry for the dogs, but the bear hunters deserve a taste of the wolf, too....... I'm thrilled to have the wolves reestablishing in the Cable region. I own land there and hope to be able to observe them.

I agree hurray for the wolves!Any man that calls himself a true hunter and uses dogs to chase a bear up a tree is nothing but a lazy ass.I'm not against hunting..just dogs being used for hunting.Hunters are mad about the long wait to get a tag to hunt bear so they want the public to fear that there are to many bear.I worked with this guy who is convinced that bear will come into town and kill are children..when I stopped laughing he was gone.

Okay you say hooray for the wolves. How about if your bow hunting and a pack of 11-14 wolves run under you. Is that a safe feeling when your walking out at dusk with them running around. I know of a 16 year old that had this happen in the Athelstene area. do you think they are attacking and killing only hunting dogs. There are several pets in the area where the wolves are, that have disappeared. Just think if a young child is playing in there yard, do you think a wolf won't attack. I think something has to be done about the wolves. Just my thoughts.

i dont think that using dogs to hunt bears is bad they arent doing it to get rid of the bears becuz they are gona come and attack people they do it becuz its tradition...wolves havnt just killed dogs in WI they have gone into jackson hole wyoming and killed dogs. any more where the wolves are in great numbers they come to gun shots knowing that there is gona be food there.
so when you say that hurray for the wolves thats a freakin stupid thing to say becuz they are dangerous they ruin hunting. the dogs that are attacked they cost alot of money to lose. i have several friends that have lost dogs and its like losing a friend. so if you were walking in the woods w/ your friend and a wolf attacked would you say hurray for the wolves then.
just wondern

IF YOU HUNT BEARS WITH A DOG, YOU ARE A LAZY @$$. YOU ARE ALSO CRUEL TO ANIMALS. BOTH TO THE BEAR AND THE DOG. JUST HUNT NORMALY, WITH BAIT OR WHATEVER, AND WHEN THE BEAR IS WITHIN RANGE, LET HIM HAVE IT, AND GET IT OVER QUICK. YOU DONT HAVE TO TORTURE THEM FIRST JUST SO YOUR BLOOD CAN GET PUMPING. COMMON SENSE TO MOST PEOPLE, BUT PROBABLY NOT TO A PERSON WHO SPENDS ALOT OF MONEY ON TORTURING ANIMALS FOR SPORT.

You gave me the impression, by your spelling, that bear hunters are not to bright. Or ,maybe it is only you? I don't know or care but here's a tip just so you don't appear to have stumbled through 4th grade then dropped out: Compose (which means write) what you want to say in an email and click on the "spell" button. This will check your spelling. Then, highlight what you have wrote and
"copy and paste" to the comments area.
Just trying to help!!!

your comments are straing from the 1850's, there are no incidents of a healthy wolf attacking ANY human being, child or not. Little Red Riding Hood was just a fairy tell. It's people like you that want to force nature into what you view as right that are the problem. Try using science to form an opinion.

It sounds like they're one of those txt msg people who walks around all day w/ a cell phone glued to their ear.Fortunately, they'll probably never be in a position where proper spelling or grammar are required.
Spell check was supposed to be idiot proof, but the competetition came out w/ a better idiot!

Obviously there are two sides on this issue, I am a avid hunter in Michigan and have hunted Bear, Elk, Deer etc.. Bear hunters have a legal write to hunt, however these hunters take all sorts of risks when they enter the woods and frankly having their dogs killed by wolves is the risk they take.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Scorpio

A loved one is very assertive under the Full Moon tonight. You'll only make it worse if you come down like a ton of bricks, given that Mars is retrograde and it's a lunar eclipse tonight. Besides, do you really want to spoil this evening's celebrations because you've had a flaming row? If possible, live and let live, so you can have a really happy New Year!
