They dont work rite! other cities have tried them they spent big bucks installing them and have a lot of problems with them but they spent so much on them they keep them in service just to justify what they spent! not to mention its not fair to the people whom live in the area and must drive past them everyday the light may be yellow and you are 3/4's of the way through and off goes the camera,Alot has to do with the person setting them up,wind can affect the camera pole if its shakeing,if someone bumps into the pole with a car (it dont take much) than its settings are way off,not to mention that the amount of money to install and maintain and retrive the film every other week or digital media (Wich ever model they use)will cost the tax payers$$$$ for the money they could pay a traffic cop to actually do there job! I mean seriously how often do you see traffic cops at these locations? evewn for an hours time per day! we have a big problem with people speeding down our long residential streets we have begged the city to do something they never show up to do a thing! if they want to waste tax dollars on this crap and play big brother than get rid of the traffic cops to justify the cost.
Just my 5 bucks a gallon worth but wait comming soon to a station neer you 10 bucks a gallon.

Oh yeah that brings up another point I seen a chp officer stopping in a chevron station just the other day to fill up his police car what gives? the tax payers are paying for this dont you think they should use the cheepest station they can find everyone knows Arco is cheeper with the amount of fuel these cop cars use it would add up to a savings for the tax payers.

Hayward is super ghetto. So ghetto that the Police Department won't join crimereports.com
because the server would probably run out of disk space because of too much crime data.
Valla Vista Skating Rink Closed (Burned to the Ground). Holiday Bowl Closed. Shootings at Southland Mall. What does Hayward have to offer? Absolutely Nothing!

Sounds like all the city wants to do is waste money to try and generate revenue they will never get.

Cal State East Bay College? A ploy to cover up the ghetto Hayward name.

its all in whose running the city! some of the cops are kewl but others are on the take and as crooked as one can get! the bowling alley closed due to lack of patronige people just dont bowl like they used too they would rather sit around and play playstation or there wii or however you spell it home video game the same goes with the skateing rink not enough people interested in going skateing,Its sad in both cases as they were longtime businesses but times change,Southland mall is a shit hole a lot could be done to improove on it but again it only goes to proove that the one whos running the business could be doing better! Put in a movie theatre build a decent video arcade get rid of all of the cell phone junkies in the hallways trying to sell you a phone put in a pizza parlor there are ways to improove another problem is that hayward is too big there is the city of hayward and then there is un-incorporated hayward hayward borders east 14th st wich is no good it needs to be cleaned up all the fruit loops make there way from oakland thru san leandr via east 14th st up into hayward hayward has enough problems without everyone comming down the pipeline from everywhere else.

I wish they'd put a camera on the Dyer/Alvarado Niles intersection where Jolly Bees is at in Union City. I'm tired of a**hole drivers doing an illegal U-turn EVERYDAY there. The sign is there for a reason! Those of us on Dyer get a green arrow to turn right and we have to watch out for the dumb people making U-turns there and almost hitting our cars and pedestrians every single time. The best part is when they think those of us with the green light are at fault. Big dummies!
I don't mind the Hayward cameras. I take A st. anyway and just have to deal with seeing the white "homeless" guy with his cardboard sign and cell phone. I've seen him talking on it under the over pass but I digress.

What do the white people have to do with it?
Most of the union city population is either asian or terrorist's! we all know asian drivers have no periferal vision and all terrorist care about is blowing things up!
