Rose Brown, 24, Hayfork, died shortly after 6:10 a.m. Thursday when her traveling companion, Bryan Schweder, 45, Cottonwood, accidentally hit her, said California Highway Patrol officer Pat Hurton.

Rose had a very tough life . As many people do in the hayfork valley .She lost her mother at a very bad time a few years ago she was a victim of a sex
crime and i think all this contributed to her untimely passing . I heard her brother was in the truck . In the end i pray she has found peace.

p.s. We feel the goverment needs to do more thinning in the forest around hayfork because they own most of the land in trinity county and give young people some hope for a better future.......

The truth here is that Rose is gone, no matter her past, nor her present at the time, she is with the Lord and in a much better place than where she was, nevertheless, she was loved by many here who cared for her the best they could now how.

People have a bad habit of getting killed by people they know in "unusual circumstances" in Hayfork. I suggest leaving upon arrival.
