Good riddance to a boring ritual that has been hijacked, anyway, by drunken idiots. In what universe does it make any sense to celebrate a national holiday that occurs during fire season with fireworks?

Maybe there should be a sanctuary city for gay intergenerational lovers,(pedophiles) in San Francisco. After all there is so much homophobia all over the world. San Francisco could be a shining beacon of hope for one more category: "undocumented immigrants", "transexuals", Juvenile drug dealers from Central America sent to summer camp, etc. I'm sure soon to be governor Newsom can get right to work on this blow for freedom and tolerance...

At least in Minnesota the DA seems to take child molestation seriously. I hope the Marin county police and DA will make it a priority to catch this guy and send him for prosecution. If he really was posting pictures of the incident on the net, the FBI should be involved and let the feds also bring a case against him so he will never get out of jail. Those are separate offenses and there is no reason this guy will ever see the light of day again.
