Totally, Up the plant limit to 99 plants, and charge $15 per plant grown for patients with valid medicals. at the end of the season say 25,000 plants. everyone pays $15 would be 375,000 or more into the budget.

PLANT LIMIT FOR LEGAL GROWING IS 12 MATURE OR 24 IMMATURE PLANTS PER LEGAL GROWER, ANYTHING MORE IS ILLEGAL IN TRINITY COUNTY...THE BOARD OF STUPORVISORS IS TRYING TO REDUCE THE LEGAL LIMIT TO 6 MATURE OR 2 IMMATURE PLANTS PER LEGAL GROWER..MOST OF THE LEGAL GROWERS ARE POOR AND EVEN $15/PER PLANT MIGHT BE A HARDSHIP...TALK TO A LATER.

Legal growers? There is nothing going on in Trinity County that is "legal". Even the stupidvisors are crooked! Some of the largest growers are members of the Sheriff's Dept., County employees, or Community Organizations. "Locals" get away with everything whereas, any "flatlander" moving into the area gets shafted! This is the most disgusting place to live if you weren't born & raised here.

You are right there do,es seem to be problems when public roads are shutdown like northridge road by putting up iLlegal gates one would think you could go to the county and get something done about it .NOT IN TRINITY COUNTY ....

I lived there for 10 years and I like it-just plan on having to shoot over your stalkers heads a few times-oh yeah the zodiac is one! He's such a woos! Well it looks like for those with nothing better to do have caught on and are causing alot of problems in regards to fires shootouts and growing way more weed than is allowed and have succeeded in giving it a worse name than already has become into existence. Yeah the local pot cop has been busted selling weed who goes around under the table 'checking people's scripts' too. They snuck onto my property to have a looksee under the context of 'dog complaints' which later after the animal control finally showed up for the aforementioned complaint- turned out to be false. If you want to be under investigation...buy land there especially after BE Smith was in High Times trivializing/championing the property in the area and moved in himself to the chagrin of a friend of mine who lives next door...every agency in the world dropped by and visited this last summer. There are also reports of predator drones (my friend saw it) as well as lots of guys in suits aimlessly traveling on the private roads for no apparent reason other than to track and make maps of the residences. Oh yeah u blame the neighbors coming together and gating off north ridge? I dont at all especially since no landowner has been denied access to their lots and stalkers and trespasser/stalkers are the least prevalent there than the rest of the subdivision. But if u see a full size chevy haulin ass- u better steer clear! hahahaha! hes my buddy-even if they say he's crazy-oh and don't worry about what the sign says you wont be shot on site-at least not yet! Just stay on the road or property you own and you'll be alright. Bottom line is there are alot of fricken weird people there but the good ones keep them in check- they'll run them out if they do bad stuff. There should be a public shower up there for half the population who shower only weekly/monthly! Or maybe Obama can give them some financial aid for deodorant! hahahah!

That would be nice, but at the last meeting held to discuss a new ordinance which proposed a tax on local weed, the growers grew hostile and said "no way, no one is coming onto our property to see if I have tax tags or not-it is no ones business buy our own!" So that ended that discussion. It's all warm and fuzzy to talk pot taxes (another ploy to legalize more than it already is??), but the reality is the growers don't want it and these taxes will never come close to supporting whatever agency you put in place to make sure it gets collected. Heck, Alcohol Beverage Control has had to cut back so far they can't even do an adequit job. This tax talk is a complete waste(d) of time. Smoke another bong load and see what other ideas you come up with but won't have the ambition to complete...

The county is getting some revenue form the fact that the property values our going through the roof out there .As hard too believe as it is in this economy .But the fact is that trinity pines is responsible for over half of all raw land sales in trinity county and prices our up 36% percent over last year .Big valley property just sold a three acre property on trinity pines drive for over fifty thousand dollars nothing on it but trees and a landing.

Why no power out there ? how did the developer get away without finishing such a large subdivision in the first place? This is beautiful land way undervalued .This has got to be the largest subdivision of its kind too never be
finished .This is like the first ghost subdivision in the world complete with a lost history ..

Congratulations Trinity County Supervisor Wendy Reiss for realizing she was an enabler being used by dysfunctional people in a dysfunctional community .Shame on PUD president Tom Onwilers recent request to have his road abandoned you of all people should know this should never happen .Putting peoples lives at risk and the lives of children for your own self interest is sad .And you should not be rewarded for breaking the law as it is.And that is a liabilty you nor the county can escape.

Kris is right ..but I feel sorry for those who were born and raised and stayed. If you are considering moving there change your mind fast, especially if you have children. I lived there for years and at least 40% of my peers are dead or have been using drugs for the last 20 yrs.
The worst you can imagine about coruption is a reality in Hyafork.

We went to are property in Trinity Pines last week .We where wondering if the county can get more grants to do more chip sealing out there. The work they did do was great and we would like to thank the county for that work .But if there is stimulus money out there why not try for it.We just hope the county do,es not forget about the need for chip sealing in Trinity Pines.

I agree with LongGone and Kris! My fiance and I grew up in Hayfork and we are very familiar with Trinity Pines. Back in the day Trinity Pines was a quiet place where the wacko's stayed on the north side of rattlesnake road, while the familys and retirees were on the south side. Now that most of the retirees have passed on and the families are fed up with the Growing (unless they are doing it too) and psycho gun shooting unstables, the Pines has turned into a psycho circus! There are gun fights over pot, neighbors not keeping their dogs on their own property and countless dogs running loose terrorizing the entire area. AND lets not even go into the corruption in the Trinity county sheriff department, the Court (including Mediator), probation department.... the list goes on and on! Honestly in my opinion, Trinity County is a dark, twisted place where people move to but rarely move out!

I've lived here over 10 years and absolutely love the area.

I'd like to set the record straight as with any area in this country, you will find idiots and uneducated retards such as Nature Boy above.

There are several educated, professional, military trained, Christians, outstanding citizens and families that live here in the pines. Yes- the area is a bit remote, and rugged and that is why we live here. Most folks value their privacy, and want to be left alone.

So as with much of what you read in today's world, half of the comments written above are false, and full of crap.

I do want to put you current pot growers, and those thinking about it from other counties on notice....

I strongly suggest you tread lightly, and keep to yourself. We are watching very closely, and taking names. The last thing you want to do is call down us group of folks on your operations. I guarantee you will be sorry you crossed us here, and would be wise not to infringe on our lively hood and well being in ANY conceivable way. Either directly or indirectly, knowingly or unknowingly, purposely or unpurposely.

There are those amongst us who you have no idea hold the level of capability to snuff out what you do and would love to take you out and send you on your way as we speak on a moments notice.

Trust me on that one.
