With the lake levels low why doesn't the US Forest Service require the operators of the marinas to clean up the debris and trash. This is what the tourist will see if and when they come to visit and plan for future vacations. Write your congressman and state politicians and let them know of your concerns!

much is diverted to the Sacramento River for Central Valley farms

Too much. This is spin for the growers and consumers. The lakes are low from diversion. Ruth lake is not low. Why, because we are not watering rice and grapes with 2/3 of the water. The Eel is low. Why because of diversion to the Russin river for growers.

And Pete Lucero, spokesman for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, is a lier.
He knows what is going on, but must keep his job. The grower lobby in Sac. has all the power to control the government.

Its not weather change like they want you to beleve, or Ruth lake would be as dry a Lake Shasta.

Ruth is doing fine. Be aware that there are many regulations and fees for putting your boat in now. It must be inspected and they are going to control the ramps to be the mussles out.

A dam just below Redway would be ideal. Waterfront property in Garberville. Win-win. They just need to figure out how to get the water to the Sacramento.

Keep the water in Northern California and don't send it to Southern California. Make them pay for it!

I think that it is ridiculous that we have a growing water shortage and the folks in LA and south are watering grass with it.
