CMon... Why is it that when a government worker is busted for stealing they are put on paid leave "pending the outcome of the investigation". He should be put on UNPAID leave. His back pay can be paid in full IF he is found innocent. Just another example of the crap the unions have quietly stolen from us over the years. I bet if I had stolen that bottle of pills from the evidence room I would be in jail.. no questions asked and my employere would not be paying me for my vacation.

what kind of "investigation" was he doing? Was he investigating the effects of drugs with his own body.

What a role mole for the young ones!!

He needs to sit in jail/prison with the person that he probably busted with the drugs to begin with. I am also sick of this paid leave crap.

There are so many cops getting caught doing crooked stuff we can only imagine how many are getting away with crime and corruption. From a Native standpoint, my guess is probably all of them. Never trust a white guy with a gun.

I'm not defending this cop, but why is it when a cop is in trouble with the law everyone jumps all over it assuming hes GUILTY. But when its someone other than a cop, everybody defends them(suspect) assuming they are innocent. Just listen to yourselves, you are all hypocrites.

Lawless enforcement at it's best. When are people going to wake up. Cops are dirty because there is a lack of accountability on them. They run around like a want to be John Wayne. "What" he needed the Oxycontin in his had to investigate something.
Right there tells you this cop needs more training. What a joke, and Mpls cops being sued for 75k for the taser incident. Wake up people you can't trust them.
