Two NE Ga lawmen are behind bars

this is only the top of the pile these cops have done over the years search way back even til 1992 some of us know & don't forget & say it's about time the truth caught up to them....what they have done in the dark for years has finally come to light ! It's good to know their really is justice!

There have been rumors of all of the above - plus some - being arrested and such. The only thing that I have heard absolutely confirmed, besides Osborne's and Gibson's arrests, is the burning of Scotty Fain's barn. Of course, there are rumors of what was in the barn.

This is going to be huge. The minute the GBI shows up at the doors of many of these people (and perhaps more importantly, their mistresses) in suits or tactical uniforms - complete with AR15s - these folks are going to crumble like a flimsy house of cards. Interesting what a real policy force will do to a person...

I don't know who is in jail, but I do know that you can't do the things that some of these people have done for as long as they have and get away with it. Some it is not CRAP as you would say. What is CRAP is the fact that because of who these people are they feel that they can do as they please and some people whould let them if they could. All I can say is whoever is in jail should be and for those who aren't I hope they get them soon. This is from someone who has known these people personally and worked with some of them. All I can say is "Good Bye & Eventually they will pay for what they have done. If not in this life in the afterlife".

I would also like to add to Homegrown that that is what everyone has said is that they wanted the facts instead of rumors. You don't have to lash out at people because they ask a question. As for Scotty, did you ask him if he was arrested or just happen to see him and therefor assume he hadn't been. Who knows, I personally don't know him and could care less, but I like everyone else wants to know the truth. Especially if he was involved in a drug scandal. Some of us support him and his family through his businesses and have a right to know. That isn't jealousy. Why would I or anyone else be jealous of someone we heard was involved in drugs and jailed. I don't know anyone stupid enough to be jealous of that.

just call the jail in Franklin NC to verify the arrest.

I just don't think the 2 are connected, I just think it's a coincidence that they happened close together.

But this tale started and spread pretty fast.

The people being talked about are really well placed and prominent in the community and I can't imagine they would get caught in something like this. I would think white collar financial crime maybe (tax evasion or foreign accounts) but blue collar crime seems unlikely to me. Not that I have any knowledge of any crimes anyone has committed!!!!!! or accusing anyone of.

Just speculating and like everyone else wondering.

It sure would be funny if it wasn't so sad that there are so many idiots out in goofy land. The two deputies were arrested for being stupid and they deserve whatever they get for shooting into a dwelling. The rest of this is total crap dreamed up by total idiots.

I agree with the two previous. Do the people that are telling all the lies about Jacky Jones and Ed Ashe even know them, or are they only well known names to them? However you spin it, two TOP deputies are under arrest for trying to kill two citizens. Apparently they didn't even bother to clean up after themselves and acted as if it were certain that they wouldn't be prosecuted.

Obviously there is something seriously wrong with the Towns County Sheriff's office. Folks in Towns are rightfully fearful. They, and others, have an obligation to protect themselves from corruption when it turns on them with deadly force.

Yes if you google Ed Ashe you can see what all he has done for the community and J. Jones is a giver also.

I have lived here all my life. All the above named people are not perfect. BUT it is likely that SOME of these people are guilty.But you never now. People change and just because you are nice to people and help people does not make you innocent. In fact you are innocent until proven guilty, so let"s just let the facts come out. By the way the TRASH didnt start coming until all the implants from other places started moving in. The GOOD OLE BOYS have always done things their own way and without hurting a lot of people, and helping some. Everyone has skeletons in their closets.
