Freeloaders setting up on Hwy 64 in Murphy N.C.

What started out as a few locals setting up for free on the dirt lot on Hwy 64 to have yard sales has turned into a Flea market full of Freeloaders who are putting legitimate local landmark Flea Markets and tourist draws out of Business. These people are not having Yard sales but are Full Fledged professional dealers who (most) do not even live in Murphy Hauling in tractor trailer loads of merchandise. I walked thru on a Saturday and fewer than 10% had a North Carolina tag, I saw tags from Dalton,Clayton, Chattsworth,Gilmer Ga,, Sweetwater,Niota,Athens, Cleveland , Chattanooga TN. as well as Pickens S.C. They are coming into our town making money and leaving without paying rent,taxes or spending a dime in this county .Being allowed to sell whatever they want, I saw hand guns being sold as well as porno movies , drug paraphernalia and cooked food without any health inspection. Not to mention the dangerous driving conditions it has created on that stretch of Hwy. I guess it will take someone getting killed out there before something is done about it.

What does it HURT??????Some may not need the money's but some do. And may need it bad. As far as I know this is still a free Country. Do as you like as long as it is within the LAW.
