Hawthorne Mayor Guidi ordered to stand trial in alleged mixer theft

Poor Larry, this is so very sad...sad I tell you.

It's not sad, it's pitiful. It's time for Larry Guidi to resign and deal with his criminal charges. The people of Hawthorne don't need anymore of this while he is a sitting Mayor. If the argument is whether the mixer is worth less than $400 and not whether he took it, then there is not much left to judge, it's still burglary. Move on and open a pizzeria after your release from prison.

Just watched the surveillance video on Fox11 news tonight showing Larry Guidi taking the mixer along with Louis Velez' testimony at prelim. Stick a fork in it!

So what. He's a politician. This just adds to his resume and makes him a more seasoned politician....he's been convicted. Thats a badge of honor for a politician. Especially a democrat.

Just saw that idiot Guidi on th channel 7 news. The news reporter Leslie Sykes was gigling as she read the text. Just priced the Hobart A200 20 qt. mixer on EBAY...$1,395.00-$1995.00 that was no table top mixer yikes. Can you say FELONY !

I wish I am a juror on this case, my decision would be "what the hell am I trying to make a decision on;" this case is a non-case! There are people after him & they are doing a good job doing it!

Here's the trend: dirty politicians (though 99% of all politicians are) typically run ghetto communities. In these poorer communities, the people aren't as well educated hence it's easier to dupe them and embezzle money, resources, etc. from fiduciary sources. Look at Bell in how wrongfully and frivolously impounded and ticketed cars (parked in residences' driveways) when enforcement usually doesn't do such things.

I heard things like Guidi impounding cars, selling these to the local used car lots, making the police dept. give out excessive tickets, etc.

To Mayor Guidi and his supporters,

1. RESIGN IMMEDIATELY - it has become obvious that the citizens of Hawthorne are realizing that you are not all you pretend to be. Furthermore, your insistence on letting this go further only demonstrates that you are idiotic to raise the ire of the tax payers of Los Angeles County.

2. ISSUE A MEA CULPA - Be a man about it! We teach little kids to say I'm sorry when they do something and then expect them to take the punishment for their misdeeds. You should do the same.

3. Live your life outside of the public eye and scrutiny. Enjoy what is left of your "golden" years.
