Hawthorne man convicted of beating 2-year-old stepdaughter to death

Save taxpayers money and the court time, put him in general population.

Make some money and sell raffle tickets to this guy being a piñata. They could fill all his holes with candy so he gets a hint of whats to come.

To the sick individual that says you know this man personally!! You did not live with this person and evidently you didnt know him well enough...he was the only one home with Kayla..so who did it then? Her sorry azz momma was at work, the eldest child was 6 at the time and the new born were the only ones home....who did it then?!!!! I hope he suffers everyday for this! how can someone do this to a child?!! I agree with some of the other comments...Kayla's mother should be in jail too...instead of standing by this "poor excuse of a man" and having more babies with him!!!!!!

No wonder he is a friend of yours. You are stupid and not a good judge of anybody. You must not care for your children much. You are as good of a parent as this scumbag and his pos wife. I feel sorry for your kids.

This is sick he should be sentenced to death why should we taxpayers have to take care of him the rest of his life if somebody did this to one of mine he will never make it to trial!

I knew this person too and evidently we did not know him as well as we thought we did he was allowed to be around other children thank God nothing happened to them that we know of, evidently there was more than enough evidence to convict him, there was no one else there but children so who do you feel is responsible for this horrible crime? What if it would have happedned to your child would you have the same feelings?

We all agree that what happened to Kayla is a horrific tragedy. However the accused man is my cousin and I know he is innocent. You all believe everything you hear and see but know none of the facts just what was posted online. This man was convicted not by a jury of his peers and also in murder you have to convict without a reasonable doubt and in this trial there was plenty of reasonable doubt. You know nothing about the dynamics of this case and the truth will set him free!!! JW WE LOVE YOU AND WE WILL SEE YOU HOME SOON!!!!

How many people convicted of all sorts of crimes proclaim their "not guilty" even after they have been convicted? Probably every scum bag that is in prison would say they are not guilty! In my opinion the real "death penalty" should be enforced in EVERY STATE! Get rid of these sick bastards! They serve no purpose! They are a waste of oxygen! And personally I don't wanna feed their sorry asses for the next 30 or 40 years! I struggle to put food on my own table! I be damned if I want to make sure they have their 3 meals a day! Let them starve as far as I'm concerned! Convicts run the United States! They've got more rights than the people they harmed!
