I would love to see the DA put on a badge and put up with all the POS's in "Harthorn" just for one hour. The case would be closed and the cops would be told to use more force. As far as I'm concerned Hawthorne is one scary place and the cops should be armed with machine guns.
The DA is in place for checks and balances. I lived in Hawthorne and my experience was not a positive in relation to the Hawthorne Police. I am amazed at your callous ugly comments about arming the police with machine guns. Nobody should have their civil rights violated under any circustances, be it a private citizen or the police, but the police are to uphold the U.S. Constitution, not create and administer hang-man's law. You sound very fearful and bitter!!!

It is very cute when HPD officers pretend to be citizens who support being assaulted by them...No citizen enjoys being assaulted. So even if you do go by Jane in your free time, your not at all average.

On the other hand if they drove through and were stopped and seen first hand the illegal stops and rediculous behavior and abuse, you guys might then enjoy a consent decree, no? It seems to be just around the corner, not that you guys wouldnt still smart off here and undermine that process as well. The unprofessionalism sustained by some members of this department is difficult to understand. It seems like sometimes they are trying to cause problems for themselves and theirs...Why?

If you read the comments and the ratings, it appears that readers are in support of being assaulted by police. The only other option is the inmature members of this department cant be adult enough to not post their stupidity on this post. For those of you unaware, its no different in person.

Why do you cops have a fantasy with using these weapons on the people in your city. Isnt it enough to break the jaw of an innocent individual as he lays on the ground handcuffed.
And you say these people dont like cops, I think its the other way around, last time I checked its the cops who were attacking innocent people for "kicks".
There is nothing worse then somebody who abuses the poor weak helpless or handicapped.
...Unless of course that somebody is being paid to protect them.

Is anything ever going to come of this? If nothing else DA office should force them to take complaints like every other department has learned. Its nearly 2010, and HPD still doesnt investigate citizen complaints.

Aww..isn't that cute. Do you give them reacharounds as well? You make a good useful idiot. I believe they called them "kapos". Yeah, I know you don't know what that is. Go look it up.
No, I don't give them "reacharounds" - I'll leave that for you. And yeah, I know what a kapo is; learned it over 50 years ago, not like you did - just the other day. But it is a good thing that you try to use new words you've just learned in sentences.

As for being a useful idiot - that's another one I'll leave for you. The useful idiots are the ones like you who hide behind a wall of anonymity because they fear standing up for their beliefs. You should know all about that; something you should have learned about when you learned such a useful term as kapo.

Or maybe you just need to go back to the textbook and finish your homework.

Have a wonderful day and, more significant to all of this, have a safe day.

I have no idea what a kapo is, or reacharounds. But I do know this department and officer in particular from this DB story. He is violent, and besides that, there was a story a couple years back about him having wrongly identifying an innocent kid who was seventeen at the time. It took nearly two years before they released him because of Robles testimony.(the real criminal was on the street a free man during this time) Its possible it could have been a mistake rather then purjery. However since then, there have been more things then I can count on one hand.(without going into details)Still, Ishii goes on the record and says the abusive cop has proven himself reliable. I wonder at what? What is he reliable at, exactly? And I guess going by these standards, its probably safe to say that all of the officers at HPD have proven reliable as well.

I am sorry. I made I mistake on previous post. I got my stories mixed up. Thats sad when there are so many brutality stories in the paper from same dept in short time frame, that it gets conusing. I think the guy responsible for this was gregor or mcgregor, and I dont know him personally. Nor do I know of him commiting criminal acts other then one mentioned in this story.

Hawthorne PD is by far one of the better law enforcement agencies around. I’ve read stories where if it was any other LEO, the suspected would be dead walking out the car. There is always going to be someone around making a compliant, but honestly people, you wouldn’t want any PD around here to protect you. Most here say they want a CCW, and to hell with the police. Question is, would you really have the balls to take someone’s life, if the situation call for it?

Isnt that what you really mean sir.
Thats very nice of you to give yourself a compliment. Unfortunately you think you dont have any rules or laws that apply to you. Everybody wants criminals off the streets. Civil rights are important to everybody. In order for them to protect innocent people, they have to protect criminals too, to a lesser degree. When your boys make a mistake, instead of saying sorry about that have a good evening, the attitude persists, and a citation ensues. That is unnecessary, and standard procedure with this pd. You can say what you want, but its obvious, your complimenting yourself. If you want to support something, support following the laws of this state, instead of breaking them at will because you can get away with it. Instead of doing your pr work here, check into some lessons on ethics for yourself and your boys. Now that would really be supporting the HPD, and the community as well. It would be a lot cheaper then the payouts, and then you wouldnt have to ding your own bell. Oh just wondering, why do you suppose your name doesnt have a city like everybodys else? Just wondering.

Is that what you think, that it takes balls to take somebodys life?
I guess that would explain why you guys are so inmature. In case nobody taught you, it takes more balls to not take somebodys life. Since that is your mentality officer, you should have joined a street gang. Then you could have shown your balls doing drive bys with others who share the same mentality.
