"Low life renters" you say? how could they be "low life renters" in a neighborhood where homes rent for $2000 to $3000 a month and in a neighborhood where there are very few homes to rent in the first place? Of course the many white kids still living in this overwhelmingly white neighborhood couldn't have done this crime, right? Wrong.

And I suppose one or more were students there cause they knew where the equipment was. Parents, do you know where your children are?

City of Good Neighbors does not apply to the school district. If they would spend some money on a security guard, instead of leaving it to the police, maybe this would not have occurred. School Board is totally responsible for this, but all they care about is bringing in more scum, now they want the high school versions, and also coddling the brats who live in the neighborhood. Disgusting and irresponsible. And you know that the taxpayers, who take it in the pocketbook every time the school board wants more cash, will have to pay for these missing computers. Should come out of the brats' idiot parents' pocketbooks. Yeah, what a shame they are skateboarding and playing hackey sack! They should be in their basements smoking pot and drinking beer whilst they play "Outdoor Sports" virtually on their Kinect, Move, Wii or what have you. All young people should remain inside. Their fashion and non luxury car mode of transport is an eyesore! How dare they socialize out of doors on public property? It isn't Timmy and Ron that are responsible, it's all the kids you just described. Thank you for that eye opening revelation!

Castrate them so they cannot reproduce. Put the parents in jail for letting their kids out at 1am. Child endangerment. As a society we need to stop enabling.

Clearly, you do not live near the school that was recently remodeled in direct opposition to neighbors' concerns with having the parking lot and nursery school situated practically in our back yards. We'd all be happy to support healthy activities, but loud punks (some adults), skateboarding at night, up to midnight, screaming, yelling, smoking and acting like loud idiots and deliberately disturbing the neighbors, are not the kids that would be home engaging in healthy activities anyway. Maybe you should have some sympathy for your neighbors and stop mollycoddling the punks and brats.

It is the other "bad" kids that end up pulling stunts like this. Not all kids are bad!

If you have a problem with it stop complaining and call the authorities. They will confiscate drugs and cite those who are doing illegal activities. WTF is wrong with people today? They fact that they are out actually doing stuff exhibits that they are not yet brain washed by the fear monger media and choose to participate in social activities outdoors instead of sitting at home avoiding the outside world while living vicarious lives on World of Warcraft online. I'm more trouble by the anti social, over weight, hermit freak shows breeders are producing these days. They are the ones that grow up with all the unhealthy emotional burdens and shoot up aerobics classes killing women they don't even know. Then everyone can ask "DEAR GOD WHY?! HE WAS SUCH A WELL COMPENSATED ENGINEER! HIS TAX BRACKET WAS SO HIGH!"

It's a community, there are going to be schools and nurseries. Perhaps the mountains will be a good choice for you. But they you'll have to contend with pumas and bears that will surely have the same complaints you have of the children.

Rude Poster wrote: If they found them in a nearby house, they were Hollyglen kids. Yes, that area is the best of Hawthorne, but parents can't always watch their kids. Heck, they probanbly didn't even know the kids were out. I'll bet it was one bad kid (drugs, uncaring step-dad, or...?) who convinced the other two to help him break in. Please stop with the racism and the references to "outside kids." These were the kids of educated, white, Hollyglen parents. Unusual, but not unheard of. Shocking to some of you, I know. Accept it. Stop making excues for these kids 1 bad person talking the other 2 into doing something bad these kids are old enough to know right from wrong and these parents are probably going to be easy on them then they will end up in jail again and again poor timmy and tommy they were influenced by Jose. Stop making excueses these kids need to go to juvi and be put away for a while. The parents don't seem to be knowing what they are doing or where they are so they get no supervison at home let the authorities take over.
