No loss if any classroom equipment is stolen from a school in Hawthorne. Most of the students just show up for class and warm the chair seats.

I am shocked wrote: Was it Jose, and Roberto? Wrongo, my knee jerking fool. They were a tad lighter than that, but why get in the way of your blatant ignorant racism. Keep guessing. You will eventually get one right. The families of these young future 3-strikers need to offer appologies to an entire neighborhood they kept awake all night while the cops looked house to house for their sorry skinny heinies. Random drug testing of these creeps would be a good start.

Just can't wait for that new HS to be built...just what we need to attract more 'permit' teenagers to the neighborhood. Yep, this will certainly increase our property values. BOHICA.

So if they were found inside a home nearby then they or one of them must live in that community.. How sad stealing from your own neighborhood. That is the Wiseburn area I thought that was the nicer part of Hawthorne to live in??? I guess they are moving in everywhere.

Only in the Southbay ... How many police depts were called in to find a bunch of kids? I'm suprised they didn't bring in some marines from Camp Pendleton.

There are always kids hanging out in that school parking lot and front steps at night - usually skateboarders. I've never seen the police patrol there or stop any of these kids. Probably the same brats.

Yup, bet it's the delinquents hanging out at the schools at night. The school board does nothing about this at all, and these vermin are all over every school ground and parking lot, from nearly dawn to dusk - bicycling, playing Hacky Sack, skateboarding, scoping out neighboring homes to burglarize -- when school is not in session, and after school until after dark, using the school grounds like their personal fiefdoms. City of Good Neighbors does not apply to the school district. If they would spend some money on a security guard, instead of leaving it to the police, maybe this would not have occurred. School Board is totally responsible for this, but all they care about is bringing in more scum, now they want the high school versions, and also coddling the brats who live in the neighborhood. Disgusting and irresponsible. And you know that the taxpayers, who take it in the pocketbook every time the school board wants more cash, will have to pay for these missing computers. Should come out of the brats' idiot parents' pocketbooks.

If they found them in a nearby house, they were Hollyglen kids. Yes, that area is the best of Hawthorne, but parents can't always watch their kids. Heck, they probanbly didn't even know the kids were out. I'll bet it was one bad kid (drugs, uncaring step-dad, or...?) who convinced the other two to help him break in. Please stop with the racism and the references to "outside kids." These were the kids of educated, white, Hollyglen parents. Unusual, but not unheard of. Shocking to some of you, I know. Accept it.

As a result, the Wiseburn School District will announce that they need another $100M bond measure for campus security.
