Day-care provider charged in sex case

wow....this is surpuuring to me...i live very close to him....

I don't have the words to describe my disgust at this sub human
who would do this.
Just take put him away for a very long time, so he does not hurt any other children.

Why is it so surprising? It can happen anywhere. Just another dirtbag amongst us!

It didn't say he was giving the girls baths, it said the PARENTS noticed bruises and scratches when they were giving their daughter a bath.

It's the wifes fault just as much because she knew what he was doing, how can you not know.
It's easy to turn the eyes so that the money can keep comming, Do you remember when Anza Elementary, in Torrance allowed a Registered sex offender to volunteer in the class room without supervision!
There were so many people that knew including the TUSD and the principal and the PTA mom and they did nothing until someone called the media and reported it!

Let us not forget the McMartin case. If men insist on playing the role of child provider they risk the chance of this. This man should get a real job and not ride on his wife's band wagon. Stay at home dads are different than a strange man watching you kids. Child molestors are too prevalent. If he did not do this, lock him up for being lazy and stupid.

I have known this man personally for 10+ years and I don't believe a word of it - He is one of the nicest people I have ever known - I think that people are so quick to think that a 6 year old can't think this stuff up but with everything on tv and parents and teachers always talking to kids about being touched inappropriately, I think a 6 year old can make this stuff up - You don't really know what's going on in her life and maybe she is trying to get some attention - It has been known to happen - Maybe we will never know but I DO know that Tito Ruiz has a heart of gold and people shouldn't be so quick to judge before he has had his day in court.

How dare you blame the little girl! Who cares how long you have known him, I am sure he isn't going to announce what he does to you or anyone else. I have a 6 year old daughter and people like you who blame these children make me sick!

I'm not sure how bruises and scratches on a little girl's chest constitutes molestation and after 20 years this is the first complaint, something doesn't add up here.

However, I wish the Torrance PD was more responsive to allegations of molestation. I've given them information and let them interview my underage child in two separate incidents (NOT IN HAWTHORNE AND NOT THIS ACCUSED MAN, JUST WANT TO MAKE THAT CLEAR) and both those molesters are still in your community and there's nothing else I can do about it or else I'll be considered "psycho."

I was Arrested by the sheriffs Dept. in 1998, and they lied about everything that happened, and jacked up my bail to 150,000 dollars because they said I was not cooperating, when all I wanted was an attorney to be pressent when I talked to them. They later lied to me about the eviidence they had, and I thought I was going to go to prision for something I didn't do. When I got out of jail I found out that there was no evidence, and they lied and claimed that I was seeing a doctor for abuse in the past. I was in jail for ten days and had to drop out of nursing school. My family paid money for the bail, which we lost, $5,000 dollars. I hope that these people are given a chance to share their side of the story before one makes a judgement. What ever happens if you are arrested for a crime, don't talk to Law enforcement they can make anything up that they want to.

Lady he's 65 years old! Can't people read?

I also have known Tito for a long time, and I agree with "Heart of gold". He is a very kind and caring person who would never hurt anyone. It's sad the way the news has already found him guilty. I pray that find him innocent, and if he is, I'm sure everyone will always see him as an offender.

I am the judge like everyone else and I say, easy to accuse and hard to prove innocent. So sorry for this family. Justice in the system, not happening. Fair, the more money spent, the better lawyer, the better the lawyer the better the defense, the better defense, the more fair the system becomes.

Just maybe another childcare facility wants to take their business, a thought, times are hard. Who better to accuse than a little hispanic family, there already guilty.

I too know Tito in fact I know 3 little girls that went to the day care for a few years. I find it hard to beleive that these accusations are true. One doesn't become a pedophile at 65 years old. There would have been other signs.... The girls, who are several years older now have all been told about the alligations and each one of them found this hard to beleive.

McMartin all over again. Train kids to say what you want them to say and bam..... guilty.

I know for a FACT that this man has done this to someone that I know personally, When they told someone, they did not believe them, so NOTHING happened to him......
YES someone does not become a pedophile at 65, sometimes that is just how long it takes to get caught, could you imagine being 6... and having to tell your parents something like that... I HIGHLY doubt that she would make that up, a confession like that makes you feel like crap about yourself. I applaud this little girl and her family for coming forward and for the parents, for BELIEVING their daughter..... I encourage anyone else that has been hurt by this man to contact authorities.. You don't want this to happen to someone else like it already did, and it WILL if he is not convicted..they are ALWAYS repeat offenders... and to think that these kids were so accessible to him... right in his own family room! my heart breaks for those kids..

But this isn't the Wild West anymore to a certain extent. He needs to have Child Molestor tattooed on his forehead and then sent to prison. Let the criminals take care of the other criminals. That's what he deserves. Now he gets to spend his golden years in a cell with Bubba and change his name to Titto. He's deserves all that's coming to him. Lucky for society he isn't a Catholic Priest. Then he'd get away with it.
