In favor of a Pizza Hut? WTF? Is this true? The owner of SoCal treats LM sports teams like his own kids, and Dads/Moms can watch sports on TV for free. Who is the genius behind this?

A sign inside So. Cal Pizza has a count down to closing. An employee said that they are moving to Norwalk

Blame it on a greedy land / site owner who is raising the monthly lease rate so extremely that it is forcing So. Cal out. I've heard the owner of the building is a real piece of work. Sad that he thinks he can bring something better in. Maybe La Mirada families will boycott the Pizza Hut - I mean, really - a Pizza Hut?

So. Cal Pizza won't be far if you want to drive to Norwalk. I've heard they are going in across the street from the library off of Imperial, near the court house, etc. An old Frantones location??

We will miss the owner of So. Cal - he really was all for the community and the kids / families of the city.

Anyone know of another location in La Mirada he could move to? Stop by and let the owner know.

very overrated place, IMO. SOME OF THE GREASIEST PIZZA EVER, AND THE PASTA SAUCE TASTES STRAIGHT OUT OF A CAN.
cutting costs is going to cost them customers. sad thing is, LM has so few "good" restaurants, its citizens are numb to the fact that quality takes a back seat in most places.

Sad because So Cal Pizza has supported LM sports for a long time. I will not go to Gondolas, because they do not support LM sports. When was the last time anyone saw a sports team in Gondolas? Why does the High School football team go all the way to Ambrosia's pizza to eat pasta on game days? Because Gondolas will not give the team a price break, even for 60 to 80 guys. I go to Ambrosia's or So Cal Pizza to support them.....because they support us.

i don't support LM businesses because they don't support my teams or my kids' schools. i stopped going to the marisa's and the flower shop next door when, after having been a loyal customer, they blew me off when i asked for sponsorship donations. their refusal will hurt them a lot more when my family of five goes to brea to eat or buy gifts.
the dude at so cal was stand-up. pizza hut's food sucks. it was already in LM once - where the bike shop is now - and folded. now moving to a worse location. what makes them think it will work now?

If you are looking for a delicious pizza restaurant who is packed with families and teams from La Mirada and neighboring cities go to That's Amore on First and Leffingwell..not only do they support our city they hire our students. The owners are always there and make sure that their customers are happy.
