The Iota Nu chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. once again came to the assistance of youth interested in scholarship activities that would benefit healthcare in Africa. This year they did this by contributing to the Dean H.T. Sampson Travel Scholarship Fund, which in-turn provided a Howard University undergraduate student an opportunity to accompany a team of Johns Hopkins doctors and nurses on a trip to Africa to study methods of improving health care for critically injured and critically ill patients. Kimberly Bunting is a senior at Howard University, a pre-medical student and a 2010 member of Alpha Kappa Alpha. We congratulate her and wish her a safe journey on this uplift activity. http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/4/prweb527... |

People with chronic pain problems often have trouble finding a pain specialist in Harford County. I am sure that the Johns Hopkins Pain group that will be at the health fair will be a big help.
My organization will be at the health fair and focus on issues related to mental health. I am really excited about this event. |
