Town Enforces Curfew to Fight Vandalism

The girls all came to Philly with "Folcroft" stickers on their foreheads to pick up superior black specimen's like yourself...
Who happen to be too successful to live in middle class towns like Folcroft.

Maybe if parents would take the responsibity for thier children, the police department wouldn't have to enforce this cerfew.

what does curfew have to do with anything there is robberies,shootings,vadalism, done in the broad daylight lmao setting a curfew for what you think crime only happens at night? you have to be kidding me what about the house invasions that happen 9 in the morning? please the bottom line is our law enforcent has no control over their townships anymore face it

It wasn't a compliment, Disgusted. It was sarcasm, directed at "Not Perfect," who allegedly is black, and definitely full of sh1t.

Race is neutral in my post. He's the one who brought up what color he was and why he was better than everyone in a particular municipality.

You've seemed to confuse what I am making fun of. I'm not saying white girls don't have black boyfriends, and I'm certainly not saying I have a problem with it. I'm just asking how he can tell "Folcroft" white girls from other white girls when he's in Philly, since he is not actually "from" Folcroft becuase he's too good to live there, remember? Of Course Crime doesnt only happen at night. However, Last night I was watching television at 9:30 or so.

Around that time a crew of unruley teenagers were screaming and cursing at the top of their lungs in the middle of my street. None of these litle low lives lives on my street. So naturlly I cant figure out for the life of me why they would be there past curfew...

I called the police, but no one responded. I am begining to get the sense that we've lost all control down here. Over the next two years I have to really begin to consider if I even want to serve another term here in Folcroft. Judging by the things I am begining to see around me, perhaps it is time to go...

To the gentleman or lady who calls themself "curfew you kidding me" let me remind you or perhaps inform you that children under 18 belong engaged in an extracuricullar activity or doing homework at that hour of a school night. Or maybe they should have an afterschool job? Running the damn streets shouldnt be an option. Don't even waste your breath in debate. You've already lost this arguement!

Now my question is for the police department...(1)When the hell will we begin enforcing the curfew that we currently have on the borough books?(2) Is there anything I can do to help?

Joseph i totally agree with you're post, I'm 43 and when i was growing up 15-16 believe it or not i had to be in when the street lights came on, or my parents were out looking for me, this generation of kids aren't like when i was growing up, and it's sad.i have two sons 22and 19 when they were younger yes i've went threw the curfew thing and having too find them at times, but nothing out of hand, they've never got into walking the streets and destroying peoples property "thank god" now they are both out of school and they work everday full time jobs, I'm ver lucky, most teens do not finish school or they are home sleeping all day up all night,

"lord of the Flies",a book I read long ago,is what I see with this generation.Lack of parental guidance,either no adult home to monitor,or a careless adult/s,so the street life becomes their "teacher",and those who rule in their age group become the parents/family.

Alright Joe How are you going to tell others people to get an after school job, when in fact you dont even have a job of your own. All u are is a Councilman in Folcroft a town that is 1.1 sq miles big. Joe you need to look at the big picture. The Police department in this town is an amazing group of guys and gals. They do a wonderful job in the town along with the fire department. You should look at yourself Joe before you bad mouth the cops of our town.
Here is a new one Joe, I have not seen you volunteer for anything to do in this town. During Community day, where you in a "staff" tee shirt, NO u where not. With the tree lighting did u help set anything up? No again you where MIA. Now i will address the people who this this town is unsafe. How dare you say you are scared to go out at night in FOLCROFT! We do not live in Philly where the murder rate is top ten. We do not live in Darby or Chester where shooting happen every other night. Ever think of Darby where EVERYONE has to be off the Streets by 9pm No matter if you are 15 or 95 you get off the street. Now everyone on this site really needs to get a life and figure out how lucky we our to live in a great town like folcroft. YES every town will have some vandalism it happens it is called life! GET over it and grow up.

its not the fact that the kids are so bad they just wont to hang out longer then 9pm if the kids had longer to stay out even if it is till 10pm there would be less crime in folcroft and the kids that were so bad that made the curfew change are now 18 and can stay out as long as they wont im not a kid that gets locked up im a volunteer firefighter and i see all that happens in folcroft and its not the blacks or section 8 its the fact that the kids now a days have nothing to do in town and the boys club helps but mot ever one likes sports so just think as a kid would.
