I am in tears reading this.. how could they, even as juveniles do someone else this way.. to treat a living person like they were less than trash? How can you expect to lie down and sleep in peace at night let alone have someone ask for understanding for you where none was given. I am so mortified by what this woman and her son were forced to endure, it's going to take the rest of her life and her son who may never have a life because of this..what excuse can you give? This world cannot exist long when so called people are doing things like this.

My heart too, breaks for this woman and her son. These literal Mother Rapists ( to be polite... right.).... should never get out of prison. And I wish them a life of rape, God forgive me. How can there be any question as to their sentencing, which should be life without parole. Many people, including myself have come from "dysfuntional" homes and never hurt other people. These good for nothing pieces of trash deserve nothing less than LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE! This crap about grandma beating her grandchild on a regular basis is just too bad. That's very common in these households.

I hope they are placed in g.p in prison, just one year in g.p will be like 20 for those guys. Even in prison there is a moral code, and those guys are the worst of the worst.

No amount of pre-existing conditions can explain away what happened that day. These young people acted as judge and jury themselves toward their victims, and clearly left mother and child for dead.
They are getting life, they deserve much worse.

Well put, except that these were not people, but predatory animals! These kinds of crimes call for the same penalty we have for dogs that maul people - death!

Cruel and unusual punishment ?? Yes, for the taxpayers who have to pay to have these pieces of sh/t incarcerated . Execute these scumbags on pay-per-view, then give the money to the victims....

I hope "life" actually means their entire life! Of course, I am disappointed that they didn't get death. This case deserved it.

Does the punishment really fit the crime, I guess it depends on which prison they go to and who's to say they will learn their lesson there, maybe we should say they got scared enough to learn their lesson and we'll slap their hands and send them home, yup make me judge.
Well little ones, I do believe you been given mercy because you get to live another day, or a few more days use them wisely whatever happens if there's really a GOD his or her judgment in your after life will be much worse in a day than a life in prison so plead to him or her for mercy too, since your still alive I'll prey that at least one of you guys can be saved in the after life if there's one I'm sure one of you guys is worth saving ok, take care.

I ussually log in here pick the total opposite of what someone is saying and then just watch everyone fight it out.

This is different, I do not say that the same thing should happen to their family to see how they like it, becuase that should not happen to anyone. There is no single animal in the animal kingdom that would commit such an atrocity, these individuals are way beneath scum, way, way beneath.

Their parents didn't help any by indicating that they themselves are a bunch of junkies or that rape should be tolerated if it happened to you before. All these parents should have any children they have left taken away, and surgically castrated.

I don't know where to start with the kids...In the event that they would have taped such an atrocity or that anyone would have, I would like to see some Clockwork Orange on them. Strap them to a chair mechanically pry their eyes open and have them facing a wall watching what they did for the rest of their lives unable to ever again close their eyes to their crime. An IV for food, and a pot to go to the bathroom underneath the chair.

Lets Clockwork Orange these Bastards!

The logic of the "free gregory wright" crowd would say.

"They didn't actually kill someone so their penalty is way too much".

Personally I'd flip the switch on em.

Go down to Oroville and sit in on a trial.

Listen to the comments of the defendants families sitting in the galleries. They all say the same things, they all want another (not mentioning the previous 23)chance for their little "Alton". They all have an excuse for the thugs behaviour. They always blame the courts and the police. More often than not you hear the words "it's racism" tossed about. It is NEVER the fault of "My sweet little Alton who would never hurt no one".

Be careful not to say anything to those people if you value your health.

It's a shame they weren't eligible for the death penalty. And for the nay-sayers who claim that the dealth penalty is not a deterrent to crime....here's a sweet little fact for you....NOWHERE in history has it ever been recorded that someone who was administered the death penalty returned to commit another crime.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Sagittarius

It's difficult to keep your mind on what you're doing today because it keeps wandering off in all directions. There won't be much you can do about this except to be aware of it, and preferably to postpone doing anything very complicated or important until you're less distracted and absent-minded. Unfortunately, you won't get very far with it at the moment.
