Arrests made in Williams murder case

It's about time and this s--t about killing Janie because they owed 3 hundred dollars rent anyone knows that is about the dumbest thing they could have come up with.

It's about time this came to ahead,I knew it would
one of these days, they should be locked up for
life.

I really feel sorry for her kids, they dont deserve their mom being like this.I know her and the kids . It is really sad..I know its sad for everyone involved though.Janie was a good person.

Stupid people do stupid things! And im not so sure it was over the actual money, its the arguement involved. The suspects obviously have psychological issues and took the arguements over the rent really personal! The people arrested in the case willingly and fully admitted to killing her! What more do people want.??? If ya really sit down and think about it.... Who in the hell would take the blame for a murder, and spend possibly the rest of their life in prison for money they will NEVER see. Last i was informed there aint too much to spend money on in PRISON! Dont ya think if they were being "PAID OFF" they would have already realized(especially after their $1,250,000 each bond was set) they will never see life outside of prison walls again and that the money wouldnt do them any good which would make cause to tell that somebody paid them to do it!! THEY JUST DID IT, Yes it was for a ignorant reason, but some people just do stupid stuff for no reason or for a reason that is very petty and unsignificant. And ANYONE who KNEW Janie Williams KNOWS that it didnt have a DAMN thing to do with drugs!!!!! If people would accept the facts and stop tryin to make it somethin that it is not it would be a lot simpler. Some people get killed because of losing or dealing with a lot of money or drugs, some people get killed for wearing the wrong colors, and some people get murdered over a simple arguement that was taken to the fullest extent by cold-hearted angry criminals.

Well, anyone who thinks she was killed over 300 dollars is a fool, or just helping in the cover up.
Anyone who knows the details of the case knows why it's a cover up. Janie was shot from outside the house... by someone that knew she would go to the fridge for a drink , as it was said she did every night. She was shot by someone who knew they were home later than usual,...they knew Janie's daughter and son in law , who live nearby, were not home,...they knew where to sit and wait for a clean shot. They knew way to much for 4 black men in Clara, Ms. to know. The reason i say this is because blacks don't
live in Clara, and aren't welcome in Clara as anyone who lives here knows all too well.
Clearly they had too much information that could only come from a source close to Miss Janie. But with the inadequate sheriffs dept and a crooked sheriff, it's gonna be hard , if not impossible to bring the whole truth out into the light.
Looks like someone got away with murder, Hannah. Maybe you could ask your boyfriend if he knows anything. After all, he is part of the Williams wannabe Mafioso family!!!

i totally agree with joe the things he said is so true and there are several others that believe the same thing. I have knowm janie and her son and daughter for many many years and they was great people and didnt deserve this. I sure hope the truth comes out and soon but you know i dont think to many people will be shocked because most of us already believe it

First of all Joe, you are a racist idiot. I'm black and I've been to Janie's house numerous times and felt very welcome there, at least by her, maybe the others were just putting up a front if blacks are not welcome in Clara. Also, the black guys knew where she lived and knew her routine because the WHITE GIRL told them. She knew some of the suspects so it does make sense that they would know where she lived and her routine! As for your comments about the Williams' family, you don't know them you are just assuming maybe because you've had a problem with them in the past or you are just jealous. Talk about what you know, if you are so damn smart and want to question the evidence, then quit your job, if you have one, and put in an application with the Sheriff's department. I will be damned if you or anyone will sit there and continue to slander the Williams' family name! If you know Janie and her children so well, then you know that she did suffer grief. I know the family just as well as you do if not more. So before you go trying to slander the Williams' family get ALL the facts right, because there were no saints on her side! People are going to say what they want to say and I can't stop them but I have freedom of speech too. It's a sad fact but people do kill over the dumbest things. It happens in America everyday. There is no big conspiracy or money for hire job or whatever other dramatic theory people have in their warped minds. Hell, the people confessed and if you can't come to terms with that then I will pray for you. Until more details are revealed, this family has found closure. We've been through hell and back and now that we have some closure we still are suffering.Please don't do it for me or the Williams family,(if you truly loved and cared about Janie),do it for Janie and let her rest in peace. She would be so disappointed in her so called friends and family if she could see what yall were doing.

When her son-in-law and brother were on the news and in the papers saying drugs were involved, did they realize that the general consensus was that people thought Janie was selling drugs? I know Janie and having been clearing that stupid statement up. Do they think before they speak? When there are making statements like that, which I know what they are implying, they are only making JANIE look bad.

By the way, if you know so much then get the facts right. There were 3 black men and only 2 of them were actually at her house, they were dropped off at her house by the white girl. I actually listened to Stein when he was giving the details and I also read the newspaper. Did you?

There is no such thing as a Mafia in Waynesboro, let alone Mississippi. You watch too much tv! And I'm sure Sheriff Farrior appreciates the "compliment"!

I don't understand why certain members of her family can not come to terms with the outcome of the investigation. Why is the son-in-law, daughter and brother keep insisting that more parites are involved? They have 4 suspects in custody, what more do they want? Do they want half of Waynesboro in jail? Maybe the ones that are not satisfied are just disappointed it's not who they wanted it to be, which is sick. Money is the root of all evil. It was over money that caused a woman to tragically lose her life and it seems that money is the real motivation for certain family members that refuse to accept the truth. Since there are so many theories out there, I have one of my own, and I'm not the only one who thinks this. It's not that they don't want the person that they wanted it to be arrested because they think that that person was responsible, it's that they really want that person "out of the way" because of greed. Some people have often suspected the daughter and the son-in-law. They have just as much motive, if not more, than anybody else. He states that the suspects conveniently knew that him and his wife were not home. Where were their children? Were their children home? If so, did the children see or hear anything? Have the children been questioned? The wife doesn't work, so where was she? Has she been questioned? Has the son-in-law been questioned? If you notice they are the only ones that keep raising hell, maybe they are media whores too as well as greedy, cold-hearted people. I honestly believe that. In their dark heart of hearts they know the real suspects were arrested. Now with that theory out there maybe they will see how ridiculous they are coming off with their theories. How does it feel that people think that your actions are suspect?

I am satisfied that the suspects involved have been apprehended and arrested. Now I have another agenda. On or around Sept. 08, Keynard Buford was murdered. Don't know why or the circumstances around it, but the family need answers. Will his murder be a priortiy or will it be dismissed? PLEASE work on this case and find closure. Maybe it's not a priority bcause many think that drugs were involved but what does that have to do with someone losing their life? All we ask is that law enforcement treat this case as well as the others. This family is suffering and need answers. They don't think there was a conspiracy or cover up but just another senesless crime. If anyone knows something please speak up and help.

well for starters them people that are suspecting the (real) family of janie must not have known anything about them because they would have known how close her and her family was and that there is no way in hell that they would have EVER done that. People is going to run there mouth about this tragedy for a long time because the victim was well known in this town and its a small town and things like this dont happen very often and people is going to make up their own stories but for the ones that are saying her daughter and son in law and brother are suspects is just idiots and didnt know them at all.and for the record if there is not a cover up then why did our sheriff go to jail for tampering with the evidence? i think there is alot of people wanting answers and her family definetly deserve the answers but of course may not ever find out but anyways i just got me when i read about people suspecting her family because thats just stupid

The same goes for the Williams family, she was just as close with her husband's family as she was her own. The people that are accusing Williams family members are BIGGER IDIOTS! Anybody that truly knows the Williams family would know that her husband and sons loved her a lot and her husband has never been happier than when he was with Janie. He is very distraught over this, she was the love of his life. It got to me that Joe would make accusations that the Williams family need to be investigated and slander their name and you agreed with him. So, when people are suspecting her family it got you upset? Well how do you think Hannah felt when Joe made his idiotic comment and accusations? Yeah, people are going to talk but if he wants to run his mouth then maybe he needed to know that not all people think the same thing he's thinking. This is a tragedy and I'm sure this is only just the beginning but let the law do their job and stop smearing people's name. The Williams family and the Cooley have been through enough and this back and forth accusations would break Janie's heart. She would want them to work together and find resolution. The Williams family wants answers just as much as the Cooley family, but at least they are taking the high road and not letting these allegations and insinuations get to them. I know both families as well and I don't think any family member would've done that to her. I'm sure there will be more details but until then let's all work together as a community and friends of Janie to find closure.

i guess i should have been more specific what i meant was i agreed when he said what he did about it being over 300 dollars and yes the family has been thru alot i agree with u on that and the longer things drag out and people keep saying the things they are the more they are gonna hurtI hate that it happened to a woman like her because she was friendly to everyone and thomas and renee are really taking it bad then to have people accusing them is just crazy but i guess the same goes for the williams. i didnt know them that good i knew them just not well enough to judge them but as far as her side i knew them very well and just cant see them even saying a bad word about her she loved her family and they loved her as well and we may never find out the truth but as long as ppl keeps pointing fingers its only gonna make things worse for both sides

Theres bout two maybe three more people they going to arrest it may be another year but them four that were arrested is not all that was in on it. What kind of background do they have? Succesful businessmen? They have never been arrested for anything? Talk about what you know! You are just slandering their names. Ken and Aaron have worked all their lives helping people and are well thought of people just like Janie was. How dare you say something about their background, you don't know them. Yes, Ken loved Janie and as I remember from the press conference, he was clearly upset when Stein was reflecting on Janie and how she was a good person. I didn't see that on the ones that keep running their mouth. What does that tell you! The whole time Ken and Janie were together, they acted like they accepted him and liked him. From what I can tell by their actions now I don't know. So was that all an act? Like the act that they put on when cameras are around! Just like them you are a DAMN IDIOT!!!

You think that the arrests of these murder suspects would bring both families together, but that doesn't seem like the case. Why is some of the family members accusing other family members? For God's sakes, this woman lost her life over a year ago and there is now some sort of closure. Please, friends and family of Ms. Janie, let her rest in peace and stop this petty bickering and finger pointing. If more arrests are made, then fine. But until then, be satisfied that there are murderers off the streets!

I am Janie's grandaughter. I am glad they got who commited this. But,why is everybody battling? Aren't you glad they caught them? It seems to me that everybody isn't happy with anything. This upsets me to see this. I thought people would've been at least happy to know they've got the people who done it. Ken Williams is my grandfather and I know that he didn't have anything to do with this murder [that's what Janie's daughter is try to comprehend]. He is innocent and is just as upset as some of us.
