I come to understand that 2 deputies where fired for driving over 100 mph in their patrol vehicles. I understand there is no excuse for this at all, but don't feel that it should be a fireable offense unless they had more in their backgrounds that isn't yet posted.

But look at this, they were doing over 100 mph and only did $1,000 worth of damage to a patrol vehicle. Then WHY was there no investigation on Gary Bowling that wrecked his patrol vehicle and actually totaled it. Not $1,000 worth of damage, but over $20,000 worth of damage and nothing happened to him at all. So how fast was Gary Bowling doing, one should ask that question.

Florida Highway Patrol investigated this crash, but no one from the media has seen the investigation. Florida Highway Patrol would had estimated his speed prior to the crash. Also nothing on the required drug test from the Sheriff's Office since he was involved in an accident.

How many cover ups are their at the Sheriff's Office?

Your understanding of the two deputies being fired is correct. But that is the only thing that is correct in your comment. What makes this case worse is the two knuckleheads didn't even explain to their Sgt right away what actually happened. They just informed the Sgt they had a couple of flat tires from hitting a curb and tried to drive the car the rest of the night. When the two knuckleheads found out the car was not operable and something was seriously wrong with it, they parked it at the shop and the deputy was given a spare car. It was only the moring after when the car was put on the lift did anyone really find out what happened to the car.

As far as krueger goes, his cases, radio procedures, and tactics have always been questionable with those who actually work with him. I don't expect the public and business owners who are standing up for him to really know what he is like because they don't spend a lot of time with him. I believe if you poll those who know of krueger, more people will say they don't really want to work with him than do. Krueger may be a nice guy and all and I am not here to take that away from him. He was very smart when it came to the job, he just chose to do things in a questionable manner and has been called on it numerous times.

This was also not the first time Krueger had been removed from the FTO program. The first time he was removed was because he was sleeping with a trainee for God sakes and actually moved in with her.

With Maj Bowling, the fact in that case is he wasn't even going anywhere near 100mph for God sakes. Maj Bowling did not commit a gross violation of policy nor did he have gross negligence for the general public who share the roadways with us. Furthermore, there was an investigation into Maj Bowling's crash and contrary to other views and opinions, he did submit to a test of his blood. Breath and urine were not required because one, he was unable to take a breath test, and two, no need for urine if they drew blood. The doctor who drew the blood took it before Maj was sedated with pain killers and such and said that his blood was clean. If the media wishes to get a copy of the report they are more than welcome to as it is public record.

Im wondering "just saying" since your so seem to have some knowledge about Bowling's traffic incidents, Do tell us what happened with the black Dodge car that is totalled after he went in a ditch or the New Charger he wrecked when he hit the lady at 19 and St Johns? Enlighten us all about those wrecks. One more question, is it still in the PCSO's employee policy and procedures, revised by Ryan, that no employees shall participate in TOPIX or read it or whatever other ridiculous way he wrote it when he came back from the SAO.

To Duh: Well I can not comment about the other wrecks you speak of. I have not read the reports. But, I'm curious, do you know about them or are you just grabbing at straws and drawing assupmptions from what you have heard or think you might know? I will bet you my unemployment check though that if the "black boxes" were pulled or if there was GPS in those vehicles, his speed wouldn't have been anywhere near the careless speed of 124 and 119mph...in a curve nontheless. The bottom line is, what the two former deputies did was foolish and if it seems Terry is missing that point by trying to divert the attention off of him and blame the Sheriff for his disposition. That is ridiculous and anyone who is on board with that line of thinking is jaded. Other things to consider are the fact that Terry was a senior deputy with a trainee in his car for god sakes!! Not to mention the fact, the other former deputy had not been out of training for that long. Wow..what an example he set. The Sheriff has the ultimate decision on what the punishment is and he agreed with what the other people who reveiwed the investigation which was termination. The Sheriff simply concured with what his administration recommended. So to place the blame on anyone else but the deputies in question is not the way to go. The made a bad decision and now they must suffer the consequences. As far as your last question regarding the reading and participating in this site I am not aware of such policy, but, I guess it is alright for you to participate in it since you no longer work here.
