What causes most corruption in Melrose?

I've always heard it comes from the top. Because the top people usually reap benefit from it. A good legal tactic is to convict some of the lower echelon ones and then offer them a deal to rat on their bosses.

The only one that isn't true is honest citizens. That's actually a synonym for future victim in this most corrupt town.

There should have been one for stupid, self absorbed, Proviso East rejects. It's always funny to see one of these clueless dolts get sent to the penitentiary.

They should make all these corrupt officials wear pink aprons and mesh nylons while they do work cleanup. I was unlustly railroaded by a kangaroo court. They didn't even care about my sweet daughter. If you gotta good lawyer there's no such thing as corruption. Cicero and Melrose use the same fine law firm. Oh sh*t I just read I'm in trouble too! Thanks a lot. If your gonna do something please call the lawyer first so we don't end up getting blowback for something we had no part in.

They should come up with an honest way for village workers to make extra money. You vote for them and then next thing you know they act like they are God and you are nobody. Hope Pat Fitzgerald locks up some of the greedy b*st*rd* who have no conscience.

I remember how they closed that hotel down on North and first and found a way to make money off of it. Then they closed down the hotel at Mannheim and North on other supposed violations and then some village officials got involved in the new bank that opened there. I heard sometimes they'll come up with supposd violations on someones home, kick the people out, and then some village officials relative will buy the house and hide their ownership in a trust. I know its true.

When are these greedy aholes gonna have enough money? What goes around come around. You would think Ronnie could make enough as a lawyer. The lawyers I know make more than they could ever need. Maybe too much competition. I'm not sure the lawyers in Melrose are any good outside of Melrose. I remember when Cinemark wanted to open and melrose tried to quash it. Cinemark hired some REAL lawyers and the jailhouse lawyers of Melrose rose the surrender file immediately. I guess it's easier to f*ck with the people that live there who don't have law degrees.

You get used to it after awhile . It's part of our tradition. I have a hard time keeping a straight face when i tell people we don't discriminate and harass non italians. Hey if you don't know what to do call the expert Annie Guiffre a virgo at 160 Division she knows everything but did not complete high school at good ol Proviso. She s very good at deciding who worthy of keepng their houses. If you don't kiss her butt I guarantee you wil have a problem when you try to sell.
