So I seen that this little low life gang bangers started writing all over the walls in what is known as the(Jungle aka La Selva). I taught they had cameras up over watching the whole area and this good for nothing FP police watching the area. So I guess I was wrong, yeah this type of activity ought to attrack people to this new businesses opening up. My point being F.P. Police don't do crap about this just sit there and watch this I**** do what they want and give tickets to hardworking people for absoloutely no good reason.

The Jungle is Unincorporated Franklin Park so the County should be watching it. East of Mannheim is Incorporated Franklin Park, While West of Mannheim is unincorporated Leyden township. do you know the difference?

Not true, it's FP's responsibility. It's just there are so many troublemakers within a 3 block radius it's hard to stop them all

Little un educated girl with no life ahead of her I do not need your d***b replies. For as you do not run anything, not even your own body as you offer yourself to a bunch of low life morans with no sense in living. May I add as well that tagging, I think a 5 year old would have done a better job. Get a life girl as you call your self a Ms. crazy?

I agree and the majority are illegal immigrants, so why not just deport them they serve no purpose here.

sorry did not know that.. heard otherwise. It is interesting all this occurs within a 3 block area. What can you do? Bulldoze it?
Maybe build the new police station there?

Bulldoze the Jungle.
How many families are living free in that area. Not paying property taxes.
Let add to the empty property list.

Yes they are good for nothing police. When you need them you will see how useless they are. You are clueless to what goes on in town. The police do plenty back there, but at the same time they can't sit back there and do nothing else there is the rest of the town to protect. The problem is the people back there not helping the police. When they do arrest someone guess what... the people of course say nothing to the police. They don't want to help the police so how are the police suppossed to help them. You answer that for me.

When I needed them they were afraid to make a dicision because they may loose their appointed position. When we stop appointing friends into positions then we may have good police work.
Get rid of the jungle, let the people move to Bensenville or Northlake. We want more drive in restaurants, more dollar stores, more car part stores.

You have to call ICE first, then you will be able to bulldoze it because all the buildings will be vacant.

lol @''heard''- no one's judging you here, man. Anyway - I live in this God forsaken neighborhood. It's blatantly obvious who these gang bangers are, but of course nothing happens until it's too late, ie someone gets beaten nearly to death and/or shot. I honestly haven't seen these cameras, but maybe I'm not looking at the right places.
Anyway, I know there's a lot of racism against us Mexicans living here in ''the jungle'', but we're not all in gangs, on welfare or jobless. Albeit, I'd rather move out of here mostly due to the gang problem. I wish more would be done about it.
I, for one am not affiliated with any gang, but of course the gang bangers living here don't care - every now and then they would try to intimidate me by accusing me of being in a rival gang or something stupid just to start shit for the fun of it.
Sometimes I can't even go a few feet away from my house to get into my car without feeling paranoid that I'm going to be attacked. It's not a very nice feeling and no one should feel that way living in a neighborhood that you've been living in for nearly a decade. Most would say ''move'', but It's not that easy these days.
I just hope one day, these people will get fed up with their gang lifestyle and make something of themselves instead of going in and out of jail/prison for the rest of their lives or however long it may be and stop hurting many innocent families with their selfish acts of violence.

most of the gang members in fp are just bored teenagers looking for some meaning in their lives. people exaggerate the threat from these groups. sure they are punks, sure sell drugs and probably have access to guns.. but as long as you lock your doors and treat them with respect there is very little to fear. stop living in so much fear it clouds judgment

If you hate it so much then do something besides cry about it on a forum . Most of the gangbangers will leave you alone if you live there and its not like they go around smoking crack and breaking into houses, or beating up old ladys. The police arrest them for everything an anything you have no idea what your talking about and they already deported most of the illegal ones.

You seem to be operating at a slower pace than normal today, which is frustrating. Maybe you're feeling tired and listless, or you've hit a series of snags. You might also feel overwhelmed by duties and obligations, particularly if they're connected with your job or with neighborhood activities. Perhaps you need to delegate?
