New VA clinic up and running in Hartshorne

Congrads to Hartshorne and Thanks to Lindley and Lerblance. I am not so naive to miss the personal profit in this but I know this will give the City of Hartshorne a real boost in business. I do not know Lerblance but while I was in Hartshorne we shopped at Lindleys and were treated very well by Lindley and it was greatly appreciated. I am glad he will continue to do well with the store remaining viable due to the pharmacy sales. It would devastate Hartshorne and Haileyville if the store ever closed. I hope both towns will prosper from this clinic. Best Wishes!!

They need to do something to the town, it is starting to look like a ghost town, as for the boost in pharmacy sales that is the only reason he has not went out of business yet.

How do you figure the VA clinic will give a boost to hartshorne? It has nothing to do with anyone other then vets. Most vets in this area will still go to muskogee for their health care needs. This clinic is a federally operated clinic and in no way will benefit the civilian population. I called Jack C. Montgomery VA medical center in muskogee and asked about this new clinic. Btw, the personal profit you speak of? ain't gonna happen. This new facility will be closely monitored by the main branch in muskogee. and since hartshorne is just a few miles down 270 from me, i will be checking it out real soon.

I know what hartshorne has because I grew up there as well but thankfully I never got caught up in that stuff then when I was 15 we moved. As for John aka ricky I know that he lived there and all that stuff he has told me about him living there. If you got my drift about the pharmacy and know hartshorne then you would of understood about the drugs and money i was referring to.

Yeaaa then you certainly remember DOC HONEYWELL. He was my family docter for years and a good docter at that. Ledia if you get any further messages that have my name saying stupid stuff just egnore them. There are two people that are at least doing this. They hate the fact that there are actually two nice people on this forum that talk to me so apparently it makes them mad. One is my own natprew doing this and I have hopes he will loose his computer very very soon.

Maybe miss ledia need to go to http://www.topix.com/city/eufaula-ok and read some of the forums you made so she can get a better idea what kind of a sick person you really are. Im sure on either town site she can click read all comments and pick anyone of them to see and learn all about you. Maybe she need to go to the NA topic in OKC and see just what kind of a racist biggot you are. Let her be the judge of what she reads, she's a big girl and she can make her mind up all by herself. I would have to assume that the vets coming to Hartshorne for medical care will need other items as well, maybe a donut or coffeee before there early am appt, or after it maybe a bite of lunch before heading to home. Or maybe how about some gasoline to go home on, or pick-up a few tolietries while their prescription gets filled.Whay about that they may rent or buy a house to be closer to medical care or their dictor.What about the sales tax colloected a hidden benefit. This is positive in and out for these towns. Don't be a anysayer! And by the way, as far as I could tell from installing phone lines in the area, the only thing that goes on in Krebs is the Krebs Corner Market and Store. Whereas we had 10x the work doing new installs and repairs in Hartshorne and Haileyville as Krebs!

I indeed they had a good idea to open a VA clinic in McAlester for all the Military men amd woman. Now they should open a VA hospital there also. They should start helping all the military people. They served our country.

I fully agree on that. My dad worked at what was called the navy base in mcalester years ago which is now the army base. The main reasons of leaving this are years ago was his theat of being layed off and not to metion the crime and drugs that go on around that place. I know we have alot of problems here to but this is a big big city and mcalester area has too many problems for it,s small size.

Yes I remember Doctor Honeywell I loved him he always gave candy away. I figured that was your nephew and that is who the comment was. As for Janey I don't like her and I don't believe anything she has said, I have come across her in a couple of topix and didn't like her or her comments they where always rude.jmo.. Yeaaa he has been grounded for three weeks and I hope he learns a lession this time. Other then that he is usually a good kid. Anyhow docter honeywell was my faverite docter too. Na she don,t think I,am a sick person nor does janey. Some of those other people are extremly rude and rude people I can be pretty tough on a times. Which by the way you sound kind of rude yourself. You do have some different opinions than mine and if one day we cross just don't get mad at me because I will stat how I feel and i know you will as well. Look I don't know who you are and you don't know me. I have never been on castaway cove forum and i have never been out there. If you do not like what I write then don't read it. I could care less who comments here and who don't.
