I believe that the people were just not informed. The plaque as it is called would have taken many months to design and constuct. It was not done in two weeks after the County rented the building. What does it matter anyway....as the song about a man named Sue demonstrates? I believe it to be quite fitting since that area of Okla is quite old west like!!! Why not name thngs after outlaws? May make the area a Tourist town at some point.... Just something to ponder!

I believe anything that has Stipe on it should be gone from our town. It is a disgrace and no one should be proud to hang anything with him or his name on it.
