Whitehall Village Board promotes new police chief

The village will have a new police chief as of Sept. 22, and the mayor and the current police chief aren't happy with the move.

i think the new cheif will do as expected in whitehall. think about it how can a police officer get paid to do two goverment jobs one in whitehall and granville thats two goverment checks which is against the law.[look it up]you cant hold two goverment jobs!!
another iam sure granville has a fine cheif but iam sure that our old cheif he did very well also
but our new cheif i think he will do awsome give him a chance.
think about this --- how can people get ahead with there carree if they let some one from another town take over there already cheif and in this town there so called moto is shop locally well the new cheif as of the 22nd is local.
and the mayor of the town just downed there own officer thinks he doesnt have what it takes to be cheif well he has what it takes to be a part timer so whats the problem good luck to you the new police cheif of whitehall

the whitehall department does a good job, that is a hard area with alot of crime and complaints to handle
