yeah...we relocated to this area in late 80's...discovering Franklin Ave fest was memorable part of our early summers here.

I know exactly what you're saying. Back in the day, Franklin Ave was a clean, well rounded neighborhood.

People LOVED to be there.

Now its a walk in toilet, with garbage both on and walking the street.

I think its funny people call us losers! And tell us to get jobs so were not up @ 2am. Forone I wrk full time as do most other people @ the races if u take the time to talk to people around u ... Not to mention parts arnt cheap and deff not free.. Its a great way to meet new people and indulge in ur hobbie all @ the same time . If u were dwn there and could see it 1st hand its nothing like its made out to be, the only time it gets out of hand is when the police come fly in , cutting people off nearly focing u off the road jst for being there...(Uncalled 4 action). This street racing has been going on for years and will continue too for many more
