I figure Eddie will get off with a slap on the wrist and continue to cost the taxpayers in Hartford a fortune. then he can be like Destefano in New Haven and say he's needs a big raise because he didn't realize being mayor took so much time. Voters in these cities are stupid

Why would the city have to pay legal fees for this incompetent, crooked buffoon. Perez is ruining the retired employees health fund with his choice of incompetent directors, has the police understaffed, crime rampant and who knows what else. Let him pay for his own defense, he is the one in trouble. Maybe a good crap in his new bathroom would do him some good.

Hawthorn Street is not even from Connecticut. He just trolls the internet posting on every city's mayoral issues. I think he is paid by some hunge group of complainers who try to stir up traffic on forums to drive ad revenue. Ignore him.

I wonder which one of these posts, Perez, under his "regime" would have blocked due to his call for the Courant to control its boards?

This is all so racist and anti-lawyer. Mayor Eddie deserves our trust and we all know lawyers are the most ethical people in the land (look at the Milberg settlement on class action suits). It's only state money, who cares there is plenty more where that is. Only fools have "real jobs."

Should be interesting to see what comes out of all this. If found guity of any crimes will they have to pay the taxpayers of Hartford back?

Perez the gang banger deserves nothing nor is he entitled to anything. People that think they are entitled are the ones that got this pos into office in the first place.
