What about the select people who were allowed to resign before being formally fired as a part of a plea bargin (like Ted Anson, former Commissioner of Pulic Works - Anson was the leader of the pack on construction bid rigging, perks and Kickbacks)?? He "got away" with ~$2000 per month of state of CT taxpayer money and NO PENALTY!!

Well- it's great that there is such a bill-- but what about that branch of our government which is not held accountable? You know- the one with all the friends and family having all of the good jobs?
All the attention seems to be away from the people who commit the real wrongs.
The Connecticut Post has a number of people who are commenting on one situation in Bridgeport where the proof seems apparent that there is a branch of government where a baby sitter can come to work and become a boss and make 70K a year just because she is the friend of a powerful state employee who does not even have his name on the DAS website to find state employees.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Gemini

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
