Woman's Body Found In Bristol -- Crime, Law and Justice, Litchf...
A 62-year-old woman who was kidnapped Sunday morning during a home invasion at her friend's home in New Britain on Woodhaven Drive has been found shot to death in Bristol, police said.

I am so sad and scared with the way the world has become. Who does stuff like this? I am so glad my 83 year old mother has moved from New Britain. It was a wonderful town when I was growing. Please lock this sicko up and throw away the key forever.

Remember, criminals prefer unarmed victims, as evidenced by this tragedy. Also remember that a gun in the hand is worth more than a cop on the phone. Seconds count and the police can't be everywhere and get there fast enough, even in this situation as the article noted that police had been in the area and responded quickly, but still too late. |

We all have opportunities to kill someone and do harm but since most of us value human life we do not cross that line. What makes someone like Williams murder an innocent woman who has done him no harm? |

I too moved out of New Britain along with my elderly father and all you need to do is look around to see who's moving in. New Britain may have been a wonderful town years ago but now it is a haven for criminals and drug addicts. I say homeowners arm yourselves and don't hesitate to shoot these creeps and ask questions later. Maybe then they will think twice about breaking in to people's homes. The laws are basically useless...look at all the crimes committed...the majority of them repeat offenders. Judges need to get firm and if I had my way it'd be one strike and your out!

And sadly, the home is practically across the street from an elementary school and public library...and a low income housing project. Where do you think a scumbag like this guy came from? They show that adorable little house on the news but the camera never pans over to show the bombed out project you could probably see from the front yard. I am a liberal and TOTALLY believe in cap punishment. However, I would rather have him waste away in a prison cell. Execution is the easy way out. And oh yeah, I totally believe in owning a gun.
