choking and threats with a knife against a child who is playing pranks is just wrong...call the police and let them handle it....what is wrong with some people in this world today..i'm sure this man played a few pranks in his day...what if someone choked him and threatened him with a knife....when he was a child playing his harmless pranks....there are way to far crazy people in this world today....

What the hell is wrong with kid? I doubt it happened only once - probably happened many times. Where is the parent? Beat the kid.

I don't consider a teenage boy from A DIFFERENT TOWN, running around in the woods, in the dark, on a school night, peering in windows and ringing doorbells harmless.

What would you do if you felt your families safety was in question?

Better yet, where were the parents of the teen? Why didn't they know where their son was or what he was doing? I know where my teenage son is at night.

Don't judge before you know all the facts.

Yes, the kid was wrong for skulking about and a "ding dong ditch" can be annoying. I can even see how he may have though the kid was a burgler. But it still seems a little excessive.

However, why is this a lawsuit? How were his rights violated? A Sergeant, Prosecutor AND a Judge would have had to sign off on an arrest warrant for it to be issued.

And what is the "extortion"? God forbid a cop do his job and arrest people for crimes.

Question- what if someone choked him and threatened him with a knife....when he was a child playing his harmless pranks....
Answer- he wouldn't be out harrassing innocent people wasting their time.

Yeah, well unless you keep your child chained up on a leash then stating that you know where they are every single second of the day or night is plain bulsh. Are you saying your child never goes outside and if he does, do you follow them?? Does your child never go to a friend's house??

You'd be singing a totally different toon had it been your child who ended up bloodied and bruised and requiring medical service and an anbulance after being beaten and choked by a full grown man.

If he received probation for the choking of the kid, then he must have plead guilty - so how can he sue? I'm sure his lawyer is telling him it's a winner, probably the same one who advised him to accept probation.

you have to plead guilty even when innocent --- unless of course you want to go to trial -- i just went through the kangaroo court of new britain had sum dumb b*$ch making up lies saying i assaulted her, her bf, threatened them, threatened their family, ended up having everythign dropped except pled guilty to breach of peace.. only way out was trial which if i lost i would've gone to jail and on top of that missed a ridiculous amount of time at work. let it be known this woman is a money hungry piece of garbage as well as her no good bf.. she's like almost 40, he's 20 haha. and i didnt do anything they were all lies made up. SOME JUSTICE IN THIS STATE , RIGHT?

If your young child was in THEIR HOME, thinking someone was about to break in and harm them, you'd be singing a different tune.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Gemini

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
